Bong-Man Posted October 25 Posted October 25 I had a dream that Dan Campbell and Donald Trump met before a game at Ford Field. After shaking his hand and listening to Don for about 30 seconds, Coach Dan calmly stepped forward and flicked Don right in the head as hard as he could. Quote
paul carruthers Posted October 25 Posted October 25 Whoever wins, I'll just be glad when the election is over, so I can stop getting emails asking me to donate to the campaign.... Quote

Personal wormholes powered by micro quantum singularities, allowing us to go to any point in the universe instantaneously? Maybe a bit ambitious on that last one but what about hydrogen, what happened to that as a fuel? Or methane engines? Unbelievable we are still using fossil fuels and 160 year old tech as our main form of transportation and propulsion. How about nuclear? They have refined the technology, the new design reactors are 60% smaller, produce more power, cannot melt down, and they produce almost no waste due to their efficiency. How about building some of those? Quote

But I know they are more committed to adhering to the U.S. Constitution and the checks and balances of the three arms of government than Trump and his maga cult. How you can claim to believe this is beyond me. I don't even what to say to that except you're in for a long four years if you do. 21 hours ago, rm2551 said: I'll predict he'll be removed from office as unstable/nuts - or there will be a constitutional crisis / collapse. Really interesting. Trump does seem to be pulling away in polling, but polling gave Hillary a clear win. Polling is often wrong in a LOT of change or new support is almost never captured as pollsters are only talking to small numbers. We'll see Steve, but I'll stand by my prediction of blue wave. Yeah, I've been hearing that nonsense for nearly 10 YEARS. Trump's lead goes beyond the polling. She's getting her ass kicked in early voting results. Hell, he even flipped Miami-Dade County! 21 hours ago, Strider said: Now I know you are trolling if you think fake hillbilly boy is the best GOP option for President in four years. Ah yes, there it is. The typical far-right language of violence and fear. Keep that tin-foil hat secured tight. You're just as bad as the BLMers. Unsure if he's the best option -- that depends in large part on the next four years -- but he's definitely a contender. One thing's for certain, he scares the shit out of the Left. Quote

The World Series game took precedence, no question. I have seen David Gilmour with Pink Floyd and/or solo enough times to last a lifetime. I have also seen ELO plenty of times, including three times alone on the last time Jeff Lynne's ELO tour came through Los Angeles at the Hollywood Bowl and the Forum. Gustavo Dudamel and John Williams I have seen often and will have the opportunity to see again. The others I did not care about and again, I did not want to get stuck in a Carmageddon nightmare. We have a nice television room set up upstairs at work, so we can watch the game and avoid traffic at the same time. Quote

It's interesting to note her lead has been cut in half since that time. I do think it would be political suicide for anyone to use anything beyond National Guardsmen in support of state and local authorities to quell civil unrest. Quote
