1979 Robert Plant & John Paul Jones - Interview with J.J. Jackson

It's great to hear things when it happened, and considering when.

JJ Jackson seemed to be one of the few Zeppelin-forever guys, and a guy that Led Zeppelin respected, since they couldn't stand the press (who does?).... Anyway, great interview, talks about "In Through The Out Door" of course, but I won't spoil it... Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing this. I remember this airing on 102.7 FM in NYC when it premiered. This was the time when I was beginning to get into Led Zeppelin. I enjoyed this interview a lot.

JJ Jackson and Zeppelin go all the way back to 1970. In fact, IIRC it's JJ making the closing announcements from their gig on September 4th 1970 at the LA Forum.

J.J. also introduced them in Boston in 1970 and at the LA Forum in 1975.
