2023 Tour rumor

 At various other sites there are rumors swirling of a 2023 Led Zeppelin tour.  (50 year anniversary of 1973 tour).   It's said that Robert Plant has warmed to the idea and would like to do one more massive stadium tour of the world.   Supposedly an alteration shop in London received a package containing the black dragon suit and the white poppy suit with instruction to let the waist out a few inches.   The return address? 29 Melbury road.   Look it up on google maps.   

Recently Jimmy Page was spotted on a jog in his London neighborhood. (getting in shape for tour?)  Intriguingly, they said he is now sporting a mustache.  

The drummer for the tour will be none other than John Bonham's own son, John Bonham Jr!

Supposedly there will be a major press conference from those associated with Led Zeppelin in the Spring on 2023, so i'm guessing after that, they will rehearse through the summer and then tickets will go on sale for an Autumn tour. I hope they do a few warm up shows in smaller venues before the stadiums.  I'd pay alot to see them in a more intimate setting.    Keep your fingers crossed!

The only reason Plant did the O2 in 2007 was in respect to Ahmet Ertegun who was Atlantic Records founder.

The moustache is a disguise so Jimmy hopefully won't be recognized on his "jogs", which is code for intense endurance training.

It will be  fall '23 U.S. tour and the only stadium dates confirmed are 10/8 Chicago, 10/28 Indianapolis, and 11/5 New York City. 
These dates coincide with marathons being run on these dates because Jimmy intends to participate in half marathons on these days prior to the concerts.

Jimmy will only sport the black dragon suit on tour because of the "vibrant contrast" between the suit and his hair.

I have more info, but fear of expulsion from the paid sites prevents me expounding at this time.

But, here’s a few Spoilers since it is Christmas  ... 
Actually, rumor has it Jimmy is going to wear the dragon suits once again as they’re recreating the stage sequence for “The Song Remains The Same” (film). He bought back the rights from Warner’s.  They’re getting Jason to wear the mustaches and beards (along with JPJ with hair pieces), play a double bass and recreate each of the original dream sequences. RP will, of course, be wearing his original jeans and blouse shirt (a saving grace).  They’re recreating the concert footage live (This time) and dream sequences actually while they sleep virtually (hence the Led Zzzzepellin Experience holographic tour; it’ll be a sleeper of a performance). Fans can order and use an Officially licensed LedZeppelinExperience oculus. Then, the re-re-re-release box set in all formats including (bonus audio) lullaby (remix) versions of all their classic hits re-recorded just in time for 2023. Better get ready, as (rumor has it) 2023 promises to be the best year yet! 🙃

I hear they are completely re-doing the whole movie to match today's environment. The former Gen-X movie will be targeted at younger audiences of Gen-Z and Gen Alpha. Bill Curbishley is working furiously with content creators to make it a reality. He will revise the role of former LZ manager, Peter Grant, to make sure no one squeezes an extra $.34 from the band (a nickel in today's value). Some planned changes to the off-stage sequences:

1. To remove the violence of the "gangster" sequence at the start of the film, audiences will be treated with a speech from a real crime lord, Joe Biden - head of the Biden crime family. He will extol virtue signaling to the world by preaching his plans to remove all guns from US citizens and emphasizing how, in his day, he handled that gangster Corn Pop by taking him behind the gym.

2. Apple will be one of the sponsors of the film and will feature Robert receiving his tour itinerary via text on his iPhone.

3. The scene of Robert, Maureen, Karac, and Carmen playing in the water has been replaced with androgynous children playing indoors fully masked and with proper social distancing to avoid exposure to harmful viruses, bacteria, and fungi that are found in nature. Rachel Levine will reinforce the need to allow children to make gender identity decisions on their own without parental knowledge or consent at the youngest age possible.

4. Climate expert Bill Gates has been retained to ensure no dogs, cats, horses, or cows are in the movie. Animals are bad for the environment, except insects which are both nutritious and a tasty treat! All cigarette use has been removed.

5. JPJ's sequence will be re-shot outside of a church and cemetery location. No references to God, Jesus, or any form of religion will be allowed as church services are mass spreader events and need to be shut down. Jonesy will also be filmed preparing the food as to avoid any sexist patriarchal scenes. Maureen will be re-shot in the role similar to Kris Jenner - a strong business minded woman. She will not tell him that Peter called and sent a telegram. Rather, she will direct John that she has arranged for him to take the band on tour - tomorrow!

6. Robert's epic battle to save Virginia Parker has been re-shot. His love interest will now be a man, and instead of a dark dingy castle in which he must save him, it will be shot at a trendy upscale boutique. There will be no sword fight, but instead Robert must use the correct color and pattern combination to design the perfect outfit to win the heart of his man.

7. Jimmy's sequence will remain similar. He will cross a dangerous river and again ascend the mountainside leading a group of illegal immigrants to safe passage into a new land. The climax of his scene will no longer feature vibrant colors emanating from his sword, instead it will be replaced with Jimmy waving the Ukraine flag.  Nancy Piglosi will awkwardly kiss him and portray an age-appropriate love interest for the hero.

8. A lot of work has been done to the Bonzo story. John Bonham, Jr. (Jason) will reprise the role of his late father. As reids stated, the costume department is busy trying to make Jason the spitting image of his father. Jason will again be shown working hard on the farm and will later cruise on down to the pub (not in a hot rod, but an electric scooter) to distribute his wealth to the patrons to ensure equity amongst the populous. Later, when he returns home for family time; he will no longer be laughing and dancing with mom Pat alongside his own son Jager playing the drums to the beat coming from the Apple Homepod mini. No, family bonding time will show the three on the couch playing Call of Duty together. As Moby Dick comes to a climax, Jason will race a Chevy Volt full speed down the track besting a rival Tesla competitor. Unfortunately, climate guru Bill Gates has removed the high intensity fire from the track.

9. BLM has asked for a spot and a moment of silence after the scene of the kid being violently removed from MSG by the police during Dazed And Confused.

A couple of things will remain.

1. Climate Czar John Kerry has demanded the LZ private jet, The Starship, remain in the film as the rich, powerful, elite cannot fly commercial.

2. Hoodie Girl, Ana Pearce, has agreed to reprise her role in the film. Sadly, poor Arthur has been kicked to the curb (again) as Ana's son will now appear with her and throw the tambourine back to Robert during the STH solo!

This is going to be epic! I can't wait till the new film and concert experience. Hopefully I will live long enough for an official remastered version from the band.

I tried to offend everyone equally, hope that helps.

It's true, reids - and he's explained how he spent lockdown putting his record collection in alphabetical order, too. No wonder he hasn't had the time to fulfil his decade-long claims to be releasing music 'next year', eh! Seriously, though, I think Jimmy's done enough for one lifetime and if he doesn't want to do music any more, then fair enough.
