Z88 Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Choosing only musicians that are alive at the present: Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin) or Ian Gillan (Deep Purple) - Vocals Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin) or Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath) - Lead Guitar Ritchie Blackmore (Deep Purple) or Mick Box (Uriah Heep) - Rhythm Guitar John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin) or Geezer Butler (Black Sabbath) - Bass Ian Paice (Deep Purple) or Bill Ward (Black Sabbath) - Drums Ken Hensley (Uriah Heep) or Jon Lord (Deep Purple) - Keyboards I would be more of a Supergroup like: Led Zeppelin & Friends or Zeppelin, Sabbath & Purple ------> Zeppelin Revival or The Evermore Band PS: The lead and rhythm guitarists could change positions, between them, specially if Jimmy couldn't play, Ritchie should substitute him. Or even funnier would be having the 12 of them on the stage at the same time. Quote
