BahnyB
I don't know if this is the best place to post this but perhaps slight possibility this message will get to Jimmy Page.. My Dad Ron Bending recently passed away. He was a bass player and often shared stories of playing with Jimmy Page in London in the early 60's. I think Jimmy was playing with The Crusaders at the time and asked Dad to play bass in a session band he had formed. It sounded like amazing fun (he spoke of stage names they created e.g Elma Twitch and BahnyB) they were great memories for my Dad. I would like to say thanks to Jimmy for introducing the bass guitar to my dad which he played all through the rest of his life. Keep on rockin Natalie
SteveAJones
Let me say that Ashkan's 1969 album In From the Cold featuring Ron Bending is certainly well worth a listen. RIP Ron. Ron Bending - Ashkan Interview — The Self Portrait Gospel
