right-there
The image above lists the songs and the venues as originally released on four CDs. My version is in DVD compliant [tisdu] audio with a support 'film' of contemporary stills and moving images and is provided as an unbroken viewing and listening experience of just over four hours. If you wish to have a link for downloading the set I will provide a set-list that places each song on the four hours plus playing time so that you can navigate to individual performances and whole concert dates as you wish. temeculan
I would love to hear this if you could share a link. Especially interested in the 1971 Heartbreaker. Always been disappointed with Bonzo’s power being neutered in an amateurish way during the end of the guitar solo before it goes back into verse. I have cassettes from over 40 years ago of BBC ‘71. Thanks for looking
right-there
Temeculan, hi. The setlist and timings are in the link-bearing PM, including your referred to Heartbreaker. I've just had a listen to the section of Heartbreaker you refer to, and coming to it without your long time distaste for the way the drum sound is "neutered", I'm not sure whether I'm hearing what you've always heard and been disappointed by or not. There does appear to be a 1 to 2 seconds fading of the drums in the mix. Is that it? Let me know whether this version gets rid of the issue, or merely replays it. Fascinating isn't it, how fans can be disappointed by entire shows, or drilling down to some particular musical moment? If fans were all the same it would make for a boring community, though, wouldn't it? Enjoy, Michael
right-there
Hi Temeculan. Does "Heartbreaker"'s transition display the same flaw? Michael
