right-there
Headlining a Tribute to Ahmet Ertegun concert on December 10 2007, the three surviving original members of Led Zeppelin were joined in performance by the band's drummer's son. And twenty thousand fans. Quite a few of whom recorded the concert with both audio and video devices. Pre-eminent amongst them was the video bootlegger who might well be described as the 'Mike Millard' of his craft, who goes by the name of Third Eye. Amongst the many audio recordings of the show, one was released on CDs to the public by the Wendy label. I always thought it was the punchiest version, so after converting the tracks to [tisdu], I synchronised the music with Third Eye's single-camera video. I can provide a link for this version on request. As well as Third Eye's virtually professional-level camera, many other fans grabbed footage of the show. Enough of it good enough to be brought together by a fan collective to edit together as the "15 Cams Version" of the performance. I'm not sure which audio recording was synchronised with the footage, as it's different from the Wendy recording, but it's very impressive - even more so with [tisdu] applied. I have a link for this version of the night's concert, too. So, one night, a reunited band (in terms of family with the drummer), an arena packed to the rafters, and two versions of the audio/visual recording of the performance available here. Links for both, one or the other. Your call.
