With the spirit of Led Zeppelin in 1973 moving through me, I can provide a link to pick up this show in roaring out of the speakers DVD compliant audio with a supporting slideshow.

I ripped the show from a DVD I authored a few years back, to discover that I had forgotten the first two-thirds of the opening track, "Rock and Roll", is missing. Searching elsewhere for the complete concert with the opening song intact, I found a couple of variations, but neither had audio with the 'zing' of what I extracted from my DVD-[tisdu]. So-o-o, what to do?

Go with the 'zing'.

What plays in Detroit should definitely not stay in Detroit. One of the first boots I ever collected, this show remains the same - a killer listen, especially in [tisdu] with a rocking slideshow.

I was there. I was 16 and been a big fan forever!

Huck, hi.

Cobo Hall July 12 1973 was one of my first Zep boots, but Detroit is a long way from Australia, so I was never going to get as close to the band playing there as you did. Saw them in Melbourne in 1972, but that was it for Led Zeppelin in Australia.

As coincidence would have it, I've just put together copies of July 13 1973, which exist in both a very good audience recording and the last four songs (although 'Dancing Days' fades out) in soundboard. Well worth a listen, as, of course, the recording from the night before is.

1973 July 12 Detroit Cobo Hall [tisdu]
1973 July 13 Detroit 2nd aud source [tisdu]
1973 July 13 Detroit, MI sbd last 4 songs [tisdu]

That's how my 1973 'calendar' of Led Zeppelin shows looks for those two nights.

Thanks again, fantastic work.  Great collage to go with two unbelievable shows.

Thank YOU John, for your appreciation. What if those four young men had got together for their first try-out/rehearsal and figured, "Nahh", where would we be???

Hi, can I get a link please?

Hi.

12 July link's coming directly. And because I recalled them when picking up the link for the 12th, two for the following night, 13 July 1973, a complete 2nd source audience recording, and a soundboard of 4 songs.

Any problems, let me know.

Michael
