Seattle March 21 1975

More often than once, or indeed one hundred times, reckoned to be the best show from the USA tour in 1975, I have attached a slideshow from the same year to the [tisdu] imbued audio, so you can watch and listen to the entire show in DVD compliant audio quality. The source is "Deus Ex Machina".

I somewhat prefer 3-10 & 3-11, consider those top shows for 75'. I really like the approach the band took, laid back and really settled into the songs in a very natural way. They are not as energetic as the Pacific NW run, but they are groovy shows with the band going into jazz progressions in NQ & D&C. Unique gigs which show how slinky, funky, and tight the band could be when they just pulled the reigns back a bit.

Hi Pinky Toe.

I had a listen to March 11 and you may well have a point. So much so that I've made a DVD with [tisdu] audio supported by a 1975 images slideshow crafted by Genuine Masters. But you already know this through direct messaging.

For anyone else reading here, a link is available for both the Seattle and Long Beach shows. Then you be the judge.

I think you might be off by a day here.  3-10 was the first San Diego show, 3-11 and 3-12 were in Long Beach.  The 3-12 show is at least as good as the 3-21 Seattle show, but the 3-11 show is nowhere near as good as the Seattle and Vancouver shows.  It's got some good moments but overall, it's a bit sluggish.

I like all three 10-12, but the 11th is laid back, tight in the pocket sort of groovy playing. That's why I like 6-26-77 as my favorite of the LA run for the same reason. Tight yet laid back, gives everyone more space and time to breathe. Jimmy comes up with some very jazzy and funky playing on both the 11th and 12th, the 12th being considerably more energenic, but the 11th is phrasing and control are top notch. I can see how one would think the 11th is sluggish as Zeppelin were a high energy band, they almost always brought the energy. That was a great run from the 10th to the 21st.
