Bricks thrown through the van windows?

Just watching this interview where Plant mentioned an incident with bricks being thrown through a van window.  I have never heard of this and was wondering if anyone had any context?

It's his way of being funny. In England, back in the day, Skinheads would go either Paki (people from the Subcontinent) or Hippy bashing. Having long hair was a good reason to have the shit kicked out of you. I highly doubt this ever happened to the band though possibly pre Zeppelin days for Plant.

He's speaking rhetorically however on March 5th, 1971 immediately following their gig at the Ulster Hall in Belfast they did travel to Dublin by car through the Falls Road rioting.

Scary stuff, reminds me of the Miami Showband Tragedy / massacre / murders just a few years later in July 75'.

....that is REMARKABLE...was not aware of that story...I was aware that the actual venue itself on March 5th (Ulster Hall) was where Ian Paisley, radical Loyalist / Unionist, gave the majority of his anti-IRA / anti-Catholic firebrand speeches...that hall was THE stronghold for all things Loyalist / Unionist at that time...which leads me to believe, sadly, that not many Catholics, if any, got to witness the magic that took place there that night...I hope I'm wrong about that cause that was the only time Zeppelin ever preformed in Belfast...
