1975NQ Posted November 18 Posted November 18 You've got great ears, superukie. My favorite drumming for Bonham is from January 73, the second leg of their 72-73 UK Tour. It's got a funky feel in some places and is pristine with military sharpness in others, all while feeling loose and free ... just incredible. If you like the SIBLY from Stoke, definitely check out the versions from Bradford and Aberdeen from that same month (if you can stomach the sound quality). I also like his playing on SIBLY from St. Paul 7-9-73. As per usual for the July shows, he's holding back compared to January and March, but he's still playing with a tremendous amount of feeling and adding little fills in here and there that are perfect.
