Jim Rome is gonna be pissed tomorrow. Well, there's still the dream of an unbeaten season and shutting up the 72 Dolphins...

Well, the pats going 19-0 may silence that group for awhile.....but then they will always have the distinction of saying "We did it first". ;)

And the Dolphins will not beat the Pats next weekend nor the Bengals the following week (actually they may have a chance in that one).....Still, 1-15 or 2-14 isn't anything to be excited about but at least it's not 0-16. So in this dismal of dismal seasons for Fins fans, I'm happy for today's win. :)

In other games, how about dem EAGLES??!!! Great game....I thought Dallas would've pulled it out again......Dallas will bounce back....Despite that matchup a couple of weeks ago, I still say the packers are the better overall team.

He's not the only one..... no offense Dolphins fans but I wanted to see you guys lose 16 games... I mean, you could go down in history as one of the most famous (or infamous) teams in NFL history!! A run of 0-16...... what's the point in saying "Yeah, we were 1-15"....... what you mean you actually showed up to play one week? So much for that now. Oh well......... congrats to you Dolphins fans anyway I hope you celebrate all night ;)

I agree....1-15 ain't much to shout about but after the hell the Fish went through this season, a win, even over a team as mediocore as they are, is better than going 0-16. I don't know who your favorite team is or if you have a favorite team but believe me, going winless is not fun....it's depressing!!!

So I guess you'll have to wait until next year to see if anyone can beat that 1-15 record of futility(for the record, I don't think the Fins will win another game this year). :)

Yeah I'm sure it is depressing. I'm a Bears fan and they haven't been so great this year either. I guess we finally found a team more pathetic than the Dolphins yesterday in the Ravens... who ironically nearly beat the Pats. I just thought it would've been sorta funny if the record books said (assuming the Patriots lose... which I don't think will happen) best team ever: '72 Dolphins.... and worst team ever: '07 Dolphins.

I cam't give a lock on it but I want to See how Trot Smith does in his first start ever. Here is to hoping he is the next big B;more star since Cal retired. We need someone to pull for around here.

Best of Luck Troy.

Seattle (9-5) vs Baltimore (4-10)

GO HAWKS!! :cheer:

Last week

The Ravens ended the Dolphins' winless streak and extended

their own skid to eight games in a 22-16 loss at Miami.

Seattle fell to Carolina 13-10 in a game that saw all of the scoring take place in the

fourth quarter. The NFC West champs rushed for just 44 yards on 14 carries and QB

Matt Hasselbeck's fumble at the end of the fourth quarter squelched Seattle's hopes

for a win.

At stake

Owners of the league's longest current losing streak, the Ravens have been eliminated

from the playoffs a year after winning the AFC North. The Seahawks have already

clinched the NFC West title for the fourth straight year and look to bounce back from

a poor performance in Week 15

~ NFL.com

Congrats to Matt Hasselbeck on being named to

the Pro Bowl for the third time in his career.

Congratulations as well to the other

Seahawks going to the 2008 Pro Bowl:

Walter Jones (OT), Patrick Kearney (DE), Julian Peterson (OLB),

Lofa Tatupu (MLB), and Marcus Trufant (CB).

I had to watch the game late last night after I got off work.

From work I had this rather limited view of the game..

^_^

anyway..

The big game next week is gonna be New England against the Giants. Will the Pats go 16-0?? Will the Giants (who, with a 10-5 record, have already locked up a playoff spot) play their first string the entire game and try to keep the Pats from going undefeated through the regular season, or will they rest (and protect) their starters for the playoffs? This much we know: the surviving members of '72 Dolphins will be gathered and will be sweating it out! :D

Hi all,

Wild weekend!!!!

Isn't the Pats-Giants of the %^&*(*&^ NFL network?

KB

Yeah, unfortunately.....but I'm going to visit family for the holidays...they have directv so I'll be able to watch. :)

The '72 Dolphins have to accept they'll have company on the undefeated season stage...they'll moan, grumble, whine, complain but they'll get used to it with the proclamation that they did it first.

you hate to see weak calls impact the game...the flag after Moss' touchdown, and the penalty that was subsequently enforced on the kick-off, definitely helped the Giants run that kick back and score. The commentators couldn't even tell what they threw the flag for....
