The 10 Legendary Singles

I hope this hasn't been mentioned before (and this is the correct forum) ... I am new here.

But I bought a pack of 10 Atlantic/Swansong issued Led Zeppelin 45s (singles), including "Hey Hey What Can I Do"/"Immigrant Song" about 20 years ago in an underground record store.

I have never seen it since.

Does anyone else have this or have seen it?

Yes, I do. Purchased it in a mainstream USA record shop in 1988. They're somewhat expensive now; seen one sell for $150.00. It's funny how the color scheme resembles that of "Mothership", although it's purely coincidental.

I have the set....Tough to find the box itself in good shape as they were cheap cardboard.

This is my best copy, and is in as close to mint condition as it gets, I'd say.

This set was produced in New Zealand I believe. Part of the reason they're worth a lot of money is the A and B sides are reversed accidently. I know it's that way on my copy.

Is that the anniversary edition of Stairway I see in there on CD? We received a copy of that at a radio station I used to work at, which our Program Director gave to a friend of mine who was a co-worker at the time. A few years later he found religion and that single (along with the rest of his record collection) went up in flames.

That's it!

I wish my box was in a little better condtion.

It's intact ... but certainly not in the greatest shape.

Thanks guys.

Around that I also remember seeing a "master recording" (something like that was printed on the top of the cover) copy of Zep II in a record store that was priced about twice as much as a standard record ... but I did one of those "I'll pick that up some other day" things ... and I ended up missing an opportunity.

Sounds like a nice collection. Are they Scratched by any chance?

Not sure if you are asking me, or what it is you are asking is scratched? The Anny sets I have are sealed/unopened except for the one pictured. The Legendary set is not scratched. I have 3 sets, one I have played, the others are near mint/mint.
