Knebby
I don't think unqualified finger-pointing will help to solve the problem: The people who ought to be ashamed won't care and those who don't have a reason to feel ashamed (but are apparently supposed to feel ashamed anyway) might end up solidarizing with the real perpetrators out of spite. Just my 2 cents. Respected.
Mattmc1973
Racist abuse, like this:- http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/for...icle3305228.ece The Spanish should be thouroughly ashamed. I cannot believe the organisers allowed this kind of thing to happen. Who let these people into the venue? What were they thinking? I hope the punishment is swift and appropriate. Oh yeah, blackface is always hilarious, Al Jolson says so...
manderlyh
I hate it when you eat a freakin' salad and a freakin' pear for lunch and you're still STARVING about an hour later. Doctor says a pound a week is what I need to do... better listen to her.

Doctor says a pound a week is what I need to do... better listen to her. It all comes down to exercise Manders. I started jogging about 6 months ago, and have lost 15 lbs so far without changing a thing in my diet. If I actually did that, I'd lose a lot more I'm sure, but hey, I likes my junk food. But jogging 3x a week has made a big difference.
Hotplant
Try this site it tells how to get the human http://gethuman.com/ OOPS! sorry I didn't see you we're in the UK this is for US Here http://gethuman.com/uk/ I just added that to my favorites. Cool. I used to pretend I had an old rotory dial and wait, that doesn't work anymore. What do people do who might still have OLD phones? It sucks.

I've got more time this semester to do things like that, thank God. So....more exercise and NO MORE cinnamon rollls! ROFL

manderlyh
Me too....as long as they're sweet and cinnamon-y. We got two that were the size of a small pumpkin at a place in McCall on Monday. I ate all of one and most of the second.

I use the " Mind over Matter" Method: I don't "Mind" what I eat, It doesn't "Matter" 6'1" and 165lbs since I was 18yo ,except for the 13lbs I lost after my surgery. manderlyh
^yeah, yeah....whatever. My 22-year old sister just called me to ask me one question. She has me on speaker phone in the kitchen, she's yelling and echoing so I can barely understand her. Then she says, "IGottaGoLawAn'Order'sOn.Bye!" I hear the phone go "click" Nice. Thanks for calling.

lzatlanta73
What really gets me is people who are interviewed on TV for news, whatever, who say "YOU KNOW"! NO I DON'T KNOW It seems that ball players and rednecks on the news say YOU KNOW a lot. (I don't mean to offend ball players and rednecks...sorry if I did)
DRUNK
Let's face it, you are talking about black people. Yes, they will say that 167 times in a three minute interview.
Jahfin
Let's face it, you are talking about black people. Yes, they will say that 167 times in a three minute interview. I have never heard a white person say you know repeatedly in an interview. NOT. Chalk it up to nervousness or simply being inarticulate but it's definitely not an issue of race. Not to mention the previous poster said "ballplayers and rednecks". Last I checked not all ballplayers are black and just how many black rednecks do you know, you know?
