Is there any full show videos of the first Knebworth gig on the 4th....

Curious if there are any full video recordings of the first show at Knebworth (the 4th)...everything seems to be from the 11th...anyone have this boot on video or cd...how is it...better or worse then the 11th?

Yes there are plenty of them, video and audio. I'm no expert on names of the bootlegs or anything, so someone else would have to fill you in on that. And it was better than the 11th. At least I enjoyed it more than the 11th!

Well, there are bootlegs, but there are still missing sections (I think Plant's talking in between the Rain Song and White Summer and also Plant's call-and-response to the audience towards the end of Whole Lotta Love). They basically just took footage from the 11th night and synced it together with the audience recordings out there. It may not be as high quality as the 11th night boots are, but performance is definitely better.

Yeah the ones I have are. Try and get the release "Secrets Revealed", probably the best release in terms of video quality, that I've seen anyway.

I got the Knebworth/4th show about a month ago, but it didn't work. Ended up trading it for the Earls Court show from the 24th to go with my 25th.

I just recently got the dvd of the 8/4/79 show (on two discs) - it's excellent (video & sound).

I have the 8/11/79 show on one disc - the video quality isn't quite as good, but the sound is

still excellent.

The "Secrets Revealed" DVD set of the 4th, with the companion "Welcome To The 1979 Knebworth Festival" silver CD set of the 4th show, are THEE ones to have. Excellent quality, pro recordings.

IMO the best one is the Bluecongo/Winston Matrix. Not available as silvers AFAIK but readily available on many sites.
