That's a bad bug...you don't want a big one in your house. On the other hand if you do have a big one in your house you probably don't have many roaches...or mice

I've heard of those. We were in Langtry one time but only saw a big centipede.

West Texas? Well, that explains it.

I think I've seen a documentary about the wildlife there:

My one friend who has been an Army doc since 2003 spent a year and a half in Germany, receiving all of our wounded soldiers from Iraq and Afghanistan. He said hands down, the most grotesque wounds were spider bites by the camel spider. If bitten and not treated immediately, it causes tissue to become infected, decay and eventually in need of amputation.

This is one nasty fellow here, not aggressive but if you get bit it will make you sit down for a while and ponder the role pain and confusion play in your life.
