AMAZONIC
1.) Led Zeppelin - Baton Rouge 1977 2.) Led Zeppelin - New Orleans 1973 9.) Lynyrd Skynyrd and Point Blank Warehouse New Orleans OMG! You've seen the LED back in the 70's and the great LYNYRD!!! Lucky you! I was too young those days...still combing hair to my dolls... You have to tell us all about it! Might have been such an experience! Always loved the Lynyrd too. They were awesome, great band. A bit underrated, though. Especially in Europe where I originally come from. It was considered too Southern and sort of redneck...Great musicians especially the guitarist Allens Collins. And very unfortunate band Basically, all the bands I favor are from the 70's, but as I was too little back then I haven't had a chance to see them live. Except a few ones, later in the 90's such as The Eagles, Doobie Brothers, The Who, etc.

AMAZONIC
My 10 Most Memorable Concerts and Memorable Albums Supported: I never saw Pink Floyd... could have... but no funds in '77. I was lucky to see Pink Floyd in Venice, my hometown, in 1989. An awesome concert!! Unbelievable! I will never forget it for the rest of my life. It was really the best ever! Apart from the fact that they played in one of the most unique and beautiful cities in the world (sorry guys, but I am so proud of it, even if I live in Australia these days), the atmosphere was pure magic, the band was great, the audience was fantastic. So many people coming from all over Europe and I should imagine from other overseas countries. I recall that the city was packed, people everywhere, on the bridges, along the narrow streets, along the canals enjoying the concert on the boats, everywhere. They played in the middle of St Mark's Square surrounded by hundreds of years of history and culture. It was such a night! Memorable, magic, dreamy, I really have no words for it. It will never happen again, never ever! Loved it! Such an amazing experience. I have never had the chance to see the Led unfortunately, but this concert, well it just was something that you must experience once in a lifetime. I have no pictures, sorry. But here's a link if you want to have a look and experience the magic, not the same but.... enjoy it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0JQ-ksbvwjM

bigstickbonzo
# 1 The Rolling Stones; October 2003. Wachovia Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The only rock concert I ever tripped face and went backstage. Got a gig working clean up after the show with some friends. We were given backstage passes, but weren't told where to go. So, we walked around and found the entrance below the stage. Walked out along side and got within six feet of Mick and Keith while they were performing Brown Sugar. Eventually got booted by security, so we found comfort sitting on their equipment boxes. We all managed to peel off the numerous "Rolling Stones World Tour" stickers all over them before anyone noticed. Highlight of the night: We had to leave the backstage area and go up to the very top for a meeting on what to do and three of us snuck out to the arena and sat in the very last row of the venue. The lights went dark, then red. We lit up a joint we had saved and then...bongos...bass....Mick...introducing himself...so many years..washed his hands...guess my name?
