that night and guess were i sat for the second show same place.

8.) Page/Plant - Tupelo Mississippi 98 nice venue Met Jimmy and Robert at Elvis home there they bought two elvis t shirts and Jimmy was wearing a straw hat got there autographs did not have my camera with me it was at our hotel . But we told people at the show about it most thought we were full of it .I wonder how they felt after Jimmy came out for the oncore with his straw hat and a black elvis t shirt.Robert wore his black elvis t shirt also.

9.)Lynyrd Skynyrd and Point Blank Warehouse New Orleans

10) The Allman Brothers / Wet Willie 1971 New Orleans Warehouse

After seeing the list there are so many more that could go here .Hell theres a whole list of just Zep related shows that could fill this page but i said 10 and did not want to post only Zep shows but i have never been to a bad one yet.My worst Zep show was proably Baton Rouge 75 Roberts voice was not really on that night and the crowd was not as into as some of the shows i went to but that show was still better than any non Zep show on this list.Thats how i roll

:o:o OMG! You've seen the LED back in the 70's and the great LYNYRD!!! Lucky you!

I was too young those days...still combing hair to my dolls...:lol: You have to tell us all about it! Might have been such an experience!

Always loved the Lynyrd too. They were awesome, great band. A bit underrated, though. Especially in Europe where I originally come from. It was considered too Southern and sort of redneck...Great musicians especially the guitarist Allens Collins. And very unfortunate band :(

Basically, all the bands I favor are from the 70's, but as I was too little back then I haven't had a chance to see them live. Except a few ones, later in the 90's such as The Eagles, Doobie Brothers, The Who, etc.

Have some good pictures of the 76 Skynyrd show i will try to post when i get home from work middle of next week.Posted some pics and a terrible review of the Baton Rouge Zep show as i am not much of a writer and my memory was slightly hazey from the drugs back in those days and like most from then who still live today i quit taking them.

My 10 Most Memorable Concerts and Memorable Albums Supported:

I never saw Pink Floyd... could have... but no funds in '77.

:) I was lucky to see Pink Floyd in Venice, my hometown, in 1989. An awesome concert!! Unbelievable! I will never forget it for the rest of my life. It was really the best ever! Apart from the fact that they played in one of the most unique and beautiful cities in the world (sorry guys, but I am so proud of it, even if I live in Australia these days), the atmosphere was pure magic, the band was great, the audience was fantastic.

So many people coming from all over Europe and I should imagine from other overseas countries.

I recall that the city was packed, people everywhere, on the bridges, along the narrow streets, along the canals enjoying the concert on the boats, everywhere. They played in the middle of St Mark's Square surrounded by hundreds of years of history and culture.

It was such a night! Memorable, magic, dreamy, I really have no words for it.

It will never happen again, never ever!

 Loved it! Such an amazing experience.

I have never had the chance to see the Led unfortunately, but this concert, well it just was something that you must experience once in a lifetime.

I have no pictures, sorry. But here's a link if you want to have a look and experience the magic, not the same but.... enjoy it!

1)U2- Radio City Music Hall 1984- first concert I ever saw

2) Janes addiction- Rochester NY 1991- Surreal

3)The Firm- 1985 MSG- just seeing Jimmy Page made it great, not sure the show was actually that great though

4) Metallica (with GnR and Faith No More)- Giants Stadium- Never a big Mettalica guy, but their show was incredible

5) U2- Nassau Coliseum-1985- second U2 show, incredible show at a great fun time of my life

6) Dire Straits- Nassau Coliseum- 1986- incredibly crisp sound

7) Janes Addiction- Relapse Tour- 1997 Hammerstein Ball Room- long anticipated "partial reunion" great venue, vibe, and performance

8) Nine Inch Nails- MSG- 2005 Great Set List and sound - performance

9) The distillers- cant remember the year or venue maybe 2005 at the bowery ballroom- Brody Dale is HOT!

10)Janes Addiction- 2001 MSG- Yet another "Reunion" tour...first time ever on the floor at MSG just a few feet from the stage

# 1 The Rolling Stones; October 2003. Wachovia Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The only rock concert I ever tripped face and went backstage. Got a gig working clean up after the show with some friends. We were given backstage passes, but weren't told where to go. So, we walked around and found the entrance below the stage. Walked out along side and got within six feet of Mick and Keith while they were performing Brown Sugar. Eventually got booted by security, so we found comfort sitting on their equipment boxes. We all managed to peel off the numerous "Rolling Stones World Tour" stickers all over them before anyone noticed. Highlight of the night: We had to leave the backstage area and go up to the very top for a meeting on what to do and three of us snuck out to the arena and sat in the very last row of the venue. The lights went dark, then red. We lit up a joint we had saved and then...bongos...bass....Mick...introducing himself...so many years..washed his hands...guess my name?

I have to add Queen LA Forum 1978 .Awesome show on the way there we passed a white custom car with Dean Martin sitting in the backseat on Highway 101 . I freaked hey I am from Louisiana not LA .

My cousin Martin and His friends just laughed at Me and said He lives on a ranch right down the road. That was my first actor.Saw many since then in my visits to LA.
