SteveAJones
So if they aren't going to tour.. just don't pay any attention to Alison Krause and Bobby Planet... I wish it were that easy. I am interested to see how much media attention this tour generates. They'd look alright on the cover of Rolling Stone but anywhere else they (or Robert Plant anyway) may look out of place. It's a bit of niche adventure, and the audiences will undoubtedly be mixed. They made a smart choice to launch the tour from Louisville, even if they managed to screw the folks who thought they'd bought opening night tickets. Again, it will be interesting to see how much buzz this thing generates...or not. They sure did enough radio and television to promote the album release. Steve, I'm about an hour from Louisville and like yourself, I couldn't see myself enjoying the show and didn't buy tickets. I checked ebay since a guy I work with asked me if I'd go and decent seats are going for about $250. Not worth it to me.

Ok the Last Tour date is officially July 1,2008... So this begs the Question.. Who in the world Books a tour that ENDS in the middle of the summer? I'm telling you folks and until I'm proven otherwise I'm right.. this is all just a game... If we get to June15th, 2008 and Plant still denies the tour.. then yep it's off.. otherwise sorry charlie.. as far as I know they are coming. And anybody who says silly stuff like a Tour is HIGHLY unlikely .. do you read? Page, Paul Jones and Bonham are ready to roll.. the only thing they are waiting on is Plant and Plant doesn't want ANYTHING To interfere with the Krause tour.. So frankly NOTHING about Plant's 'announcement' surprises me in the least.. it was completely expected.

When Jimmy spoke in Japan he meant what he said, which was basically nothing planned, nothing happening until September at the earliest and no guarentees. Otto Masson
Robert's an artist. For him it's never been about money. But then again, for Led Zeppelin it wasn't either. They all have a lot of integrity as artists. If somebody can listen to their albums and maintain they were simply done for the sake of money, well, I couldn't take such a person seriously. Originally the tour only had bookings up until mid May.. the "additional" dates have already been announced... And In addition , when the tour does what's expected.. the backers are going to be as likely to extend this act as they are a Broadway play that draws 20 people a night. So nothing out of the ordinary or the script has gone awry just yet .. Don't go stamping the seal of Death upon anything yet. You've yet to explain Plant's appearances at the Garden and so on.. I guess that was all just to push sales on Apple Itunes and Mothership? Hilarious... seriously guys ... it's like the triple Encore.. of course they are going to Deny deny deny... Buddhak0n
Oh and All Plant Denied was a $300 Million dollar SUPER Tour... and he said his attention was 100% with Allison Krause. Nothing in his statement denies booking a block of shows at the Garden or his desire to play again with the Band... It only denies the MEGA Super Rock Eagles or Rolling Stones Reunion Tours of the Past which I never thought they'd do. Hey it's up to the guys.. If they want to play together they will... Simple as that.. and nothing really changed from March 3rd to March 4th other than Plant said the same thing he always said.. I have no plans other than my current tour with Krause. no news here.. he just got sick of people asking the questions so he said what needed to be said to get people off their backs... it means diddly in the grand scheme of things. Her fan base isn't divided over it. As far as anything Zep, again, I highlight what Jimmy said in Japan. I would add if HE knew Zep was going to tour he would have said so. He didn't because he doesn't. He knows only that sand is running thru the hour glass.
