Mattmc1973
Crosby Stills & Nash's "Southern Cross", some of the best harmonies I've ever heard in a chorus...
Pb Derigable
You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' by Righteous Brothers. I really liked it when Goose and Maverick covered it. and of course Tin Man by America.
L 7
Not exactly a harmony but maybe a cheer and for St. Patty`s Day. ledsabbath
I couldn't name my favourite harmony songs, as I'm really a guitar/drum fan of music. But when it comes to harmony vocals, for me, 2 bands come to mind as the best ones. The Eagles Uriah Heep Everyone knows The Eagles, so I'll give you this youtube link for a Heep song, 'Easy Livin'. This of course is not an original video, but I chose it as the song quality on this video is excellent, better than many of the other youtube videos of this song. The vocal harmonics are nice and clear on this clip: http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=OhYr3iYjMNA Edited March 18, 2008 by ledsabbath

ArmsofAtlas
I'm kinda let down. Nobody has mentioned Queen. They had 3 fantastic backup singers, along with prolly the best technical singer rock has has ever had. Add, the that, their ability to layer a pretty much everything. Fantastic harmonies all around. Maybe it's not in the style of what you are lookin for, but when I think of harmonies, I think of Beach Boys, Beatles, and Queen.
The Rover
"Hear About It Later" by Van Halen has some harmonies in it, I believe.
Gainsbarre
Awesome pick! One of my top 5 favorite songs of all time... Overhead the albatross hangs motionless upon the air And deep beneath the rolling waves in labyrinths of coral caves Yeah it's a great song that, a masterpiece. I have a covers band that specialises in harmony numbers and we do Echoes. It's fun when you singt he Rick Wright harmony because you start off singing in a minor harmony then you have to switch to a major-key one. Fearless, another song off Meddle, is a good harmony number.
MadScreamingGallery
"Wooden Ships" - the Jefferson Airplane cover - one of the most haunting songs - the combination of the voices and the instruments give me chills. My husband and I played this quite a bit when we lived in a remote village in the developing world. "Nowhere Man" - The Beatles "Marrakesh Express" - CSN Edited to add: I love point in the old vids of the Beatles' concerts when Paul and John lean into the mic, put their heads together, and sing harmony as the girls in the audience go into a wild frenzy of screaming. Robert and Jimmy would do that, on rare occasion, at Zep concerts and the entire crowd would go crazy. Gainsbarre
I have been a Pink Floyd fan as long as I've been a Zeppelin fan (got into all that great music in 76/77). Meddle is a great album, and i also love "Fearless". Your band sounds cool, anyone covering Echoes would be! Can you play "Sheep"? That's my next favorite Pink Floyd song! Oh, I tried talking them into 'Sheep' but they said no, not enough harmony apparently. So we did "Us and Them" instead.
