Laughter
A friend of mine had wanted to get into Led Zeppelin lately. He's been getting a pretty good start. He likes Kashmir, The Immigrant Song, In The Light, No Quarter, Carouselambra and Stairway to Heaven to name a few. I wanted to make it into an album style and flow. Being the obsessed fan I am I made it three CDs of things I like and things I think he'd like. I want you to comment and tell me of any flaws or good perceptions of album-flow orders. How the feeling of one song can well lead into the next or how the contrast makes it fit. CD #1 1. Dazed and Confused 2. The Wanton Song 3. No Quarter 4. When The Levee Breaks 5. In The Light 6. Kashmir 7. Friends 8. Battle of Evermore 9. Babe I'm Gonna Leave You 10. Misty Mountain Hop 11. The Ocean 12. Down By The Seaside 13. Ten Years Gone CD #2 1. Carouselambra 2. The Rain Song 3. Going to California 4. Fool in the Rain 5. Trampled Underfoot 6. The Rover 7. Black Dog 8. Four Sticks 9. The Crunge 10. The Song Remains the Same 11. The Immigrant Song 12. Good Times Bad times 13. Since I've Been Loving You 14. I'm Gonna Crawl CD #3 1. In The Evening 2. Communication Breakdown 3. D'yer Mak'er 4. Dancing Days 5. Ramble On 6. Thank You 7. All My Love 8. Houses of The Holy 9. Tea For One 10. Over The Hills and Far Away 11. Stairway to Heaven 12. Bron-Yr-Aur 13. Achilles Last Stand

I guess you could of grouped the heavy rocker into one cd and the acoustics on the other. To me its best to temper them both with care. Zep has that duality. Of being electric and acoustic. Laughter
I did that for FitR because it fit better with the piano echo to jump into the clavinet intro well.
lzfan715
I was just looking at the length of the songs, and Going To California is a shorter song that might break it up.
Laughter
I was just looking at the length of the songs, and Going To California is a shorter song that might break it up. Ah, I'd always figured it made a nice splash to the next song. So that's pretty much it?
