I think the main reason why Grace doesn't perform anymore is because of how she feels people would look at her on stage, since she was originally a model. I'll be seeing Jorma and Jack in 2 weeks, as acoustic Hot Tuna. How they look never comes into my mind, as long as they can still play - and Jack hasn't lost a thing. Jorma does get some help from their mandolinist and sometimes a guest guitarist (David Lindley, on this tour). I liked that they put Jorma's performance of "Embryonic Journey, from the R+R Hall induction, at the end of this DVD. Spencer Dryden, the drummer, died not too long ago.

I'm certainly not preoccupied on how they look. They could be all wrinkly, grey, and hunched over for all I care. If I look like Grace does when I'm that age, I'd be very happy with it. For being in her mid-60s I think she looks fantastic. I was simply stating, that not having seen pictures of them, and not being around for 40 years; I don't know how time affects people like that. And sounds like a great show though.

Edited to add the word not, because if I didn't it sounded rude and had a different meaning.

I got a Jim Morrison poetry book, and I bought my dad a limited edition vinyl pressing of Pyromania.

Which poetry book? I have Wilderness. I haven't read it in awhile but I have a renewed interest in the Doors since reading the Jim Morrison Scrapbook.

I've always loved Jim's poetry.

Top 5 with Brian:

- Shoot to Thrill

It would have been easier to choose 10 songs from each era, but...

I think my favorite AC/DC song's are Touch Too Much, Ride On, Jailbreak, Dirty Deeds, and Walk All Over You .

My most often played AC/DC album is Dirty Deeds followed closely by Highway to Hell. :)

The Hellacopters latest 7" single, Darling Darling / Baby Come (Sep 2008). I'll have it in the mail same day it is released. Can't wait to hear the non-album B-side.

I purchased Witchcraft's latest album, The Alchemist, yesterday. They will be the support for Motörhead (!) when they play in Stockholm, not to bad I guess.

I found this review at www.allmusic.com, really nice words about the album:

Black Sabbath is rightfully considered a trailblazer of the doom metal genre. But the next group in line to carry the doom torch was Pentagram, a U.S. band well versed in their Ozzy and Iommi-isms. While Pentagram never scaled the heights that the Sabs did, they certainly left their mark on countless subsequent bands throughout the world — especially Sweden's Witchcraft. On their third release overall, 2007's The Alchemist, the quartet continues attempting to turn the clock back to 1975 — Magnus Pelander's vocal delivery is an awful lot like Pentagram's Bobby Liebling, while the music would provide a fine soundtrack to a high school stoner's basement party — when the folks were out of town, the bong smoke was thick, and the black light posters were proudly on display. However, as with most doom metallists, quite a few bits have a certain familiarity to them — case in point, "If Crimson Was Your Colour," which contains a riff reminiscent of Megadeth's "Symphony of Destruction," while "Hey Doctor" contains the same drum breakdown in the middle of Sabbath's Vol. 4 obscurity "Under the Sun/Every Day Comes and Goes." But the group also shows they aren't afraid of laying down a Wolfmother-esque groove from time to time, as evidenced by the opening of "Samaritan Burden." Doom metal continues to thrive in the early 21st century, as evidenced by the emergence of Witchcraft.

Just noticed it has a misprint on the back, in one of the song names.

I also bought the Moonwalker DVD, only $22.50 for both.

Used to listen to MJ a lot. When I was a baby, the video tape with MJ playing Black or White and that M&M's commercial were the only things that stopped me from crying. My mom used that tape to hypnotize me :D .
