Dug up a couple of gems in a second hand record store this weekend. The Back From The Grave comps are really something, with various 60's garage rock bands. All vinyls.

(Uncut Magazine)

"an album of inventive, touching and triumphant pop songs.. a true success."

(Rock 'n' Reel Magazine)

".. Babel sing their own unique & uplifting tune. ( *** )"

(The Epoch Times)

"Quietly ace."

(Rock Sound magazine)

"Oddness, wrapped in the cushioning miasma that is the acoustic guitar. Drama for the beardy brigade"

(Artrocker Magazine)

"an assured and compelling debut."

Ooh thanks for the link and info! I've heard of them and they are on my list to check out.

I had never heard of them until yesterday. It was my girlfriend who saw that they were playing in Glasgow and she knew who they were since before. I'm really happy we went to see them, a really remarkable band!
