Jahfin
Pearl Jam - Immagine in Cornice That is one kickass DVD. I especially love the bonus cuts with Vedder fronting My Morning Jacket, particularly their cover of the Who's A Quick One While He's Away. Kashmir330
I agree Jahfin. It's really good. I was watching it with my mom and she couldn't believe how great Pearl Jam is since she's only heard a few songs from the radio. It was a real eyeopener for her. kakdaddy
"Last Man Standing" by Jerry Lee Lewis. All duets. Some of the guests are Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Mick Jagger & Ron Wood, Keith Richards, & Wille Nelson, who in my opinion are on the standout tracks. kakdaddy
Excellent choices! What an incredible catalog Chess got, many great artists and classic songs. I know they've released a Chess Singles Box Set a couple of years back, I still have it on my "got to get" list. They're both great. I wanted the "Chess Box" set for years & I just splurged on it. The Elmore James disc is just essential if you love bluesy slide guitar. Well I also picked these up yesterday: "Willie Dixon The Chess Box" - Willie Dixon "Leave Home" - The Ramones "The Downward Spiral" - Nine Inch Nails "The Eraser" - Thom Yorke The Dixon box set has some songs not on the actual Chess Box so I picked that up for those songs & the liner notes. Great stuff.
