Although I don't know what a groos is either, so that doesn't help. Bong-Man Posted January 10, 2008 Share Posted January 10, 2008 I saw ELO, and it was one of the worst performances ever. In fact, it literally killed the band Milli-Vanilli style. Using pre-recorded tapes on stage was bad enough, but the giant flying spaceship as a stage looked like a flying clam from a bad 50's science fiction flick. People booed, the report of tapes came out, and ELO was no more. "Eldorado" was always my favorite studio album. They lost me with "New World Record". kaztor (slight return) Posted January 10, 2008 Share Posted January 10, 2008 When they're cheesy they're extremely cheesy (Roll Over Beethoven, Rock N Roll Is King, Living Thing, Don't Bring Me Down) but when they're great they're awesome (Diary Of Horace Wimp, 10538 Overture, Twilight, Secret Messages). 10CC are a bit similar but somewhat cooler.
