Are we being "selfish"?

I'm really starting to wonder if "we"zeppelin fans are starting to take this reunion tour thing just a tad to far .!As musicians they all seem to have had there fair share of success in there own way since john Bonham's death. As for Robert plant well this collaboration with Alison krauss seems to have been his most successful project to date! let's face it ;jimmy has had heaps of time since his "the black crow's tour" to produce /record tour with someone else.And to say that finding musicians that can "click"when they play together is hard to believe ! Maybe the talk of heading in new directions is exactly what the members of zep need to do as separate entity's for the legacy of the band to continue.

I don't think we are being selfish in wanting them to play additional dates together.

Zeppelin are still held in such high regard, that the demand to see them is enormous.

Personally I'm glad that my favourite band is still so highly thought of as a live act, and so popular.

What IS selfish in my book, is the "Well I saw them at the O2 and now they don't need to do a tour just because I've seen them now" kind of remark, which has been bandied about here once or twice.

I've seen both Page and Plant perform seperately as well as together and to be honest, even though they are my favourite band, I would have to think long and hard to see them elsewhere if they didn't play my city.

It would be great to see them, but if it doesn't happen it is no big deal. As much as I still get into Zep some 30+ years later, my life will not be filled with regret.

Shelling out 100's of dollars to me just isn't worth it. Front row maybe. In the nosebleeds, forget it. My priorities have changed. A friend once paid $1500 for a McCartney ticket. I wouldn't have.

If they tour,they tour. If they don't, they don't. It would be cool but otherwise if not, wouldn't mean a spit to me.
