DoubleNecker
Right now, I'm listening to the opening track to the Final Fantasy VI Original Soundtrack by Nobuo Uematsu. This three disc soundtrack is a true masterpiece. There are others by Mr. Uematsu that is among the work of gods in video game music. There are others who I hold in high regard for their work in games such as Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Xenogears) and Yoko Shimomura (Super Mario RPG, Kingdom Hearts series). I love video game music very much, it's very relaxing and gives ya a rush too! I have a bit too much of it I think, almost 9GB. Any other lovers of game music? Pb Derigable
The Halo 2 soundtrack, I'm not sure you can buy legally, always gave me chills. I have most of it and pop it on once in awhile.

DoubleNecker
Used to love Yeah, the Max Payne soundtrack is great. Even though nobody talks about it, I feel it's extremely underappreciated. Some truly chilling tracks on there.
Mattmc1973
I can still sing the original Super Mario Brothers music, note for note.
Pb Derigable
Almost every new game has wonderful sound, but i thought the best sounding game of all time was goldeneye for 64. even tho it was only in stereo, they had that music crank. Ill hook it up to my home theater system and just barley turn it up and it gets deafening. the soundtrack is cool because it got this nice little bass pop as part of the beat, it really make your sub woofer work as it supposed to. It has too much stereo separation, where it doesn't feel natural when things get played through the back speakers, but it's really cool thing to have once in a while. It scares the shit out of you when you hear this loud bang coming from one speaker behide you. I always like the music, it's so in your face with that kickin bass. The Rover
The first Video Game that I remember having hypnotic music was Need For Speed 3: Hot Pursuit on the Playstation. This music played in between races as you were llining up the cars and the tracks.... Late at night, after 2am.... you just get into another world with NFS3! It was the first, and it still is special to me to day, although I haven't actually played NFS:3 in a long while. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWXIE4mlfWo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmYGdKsdaDc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCl0oKA7YrA THe first game that I bought a CD soundtrack to was the original Medal of Honor. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rie6aneqnPg I remember well the full Music Videos that showed with Road Rash on the Sega CD system. Road Rash soundtrack is listed below: Soundgarden: Rusty Cage, Superunknown, Kickstand, Outshined Paw: Pansy, Jessie, The Bridge Hammerbox: Trip, Simple Passing Sugar Ray: Mean Machine Therapy?: Teethgrinder, Auto Surgery Monster Magnet: Dinosaur Vacume Swervedriver: Duel, Last Day on Earth, Last Train to Satansville And, the wonderful world of Ecco The Dolphin, also on the Sega system. Reggie29
Midtown Madness 3 on XBox. I created my own soundtrack. Cruising around Paris or Washington with Led Zeppelin blaring out of my stereo TV!
DoubleNecker
I've been wishing that people could get into Motoi Sakuraba, because the Star Ocean 2 soundtrack is one of the best I've ever heard in my life. I also think that people should like totally listen to the Onimusha Warlords OST by Mamoru Samuragoch. It's an incredible soundtrack that does justice to traditional Japanese music.
