lzzoso
Two songs instantly come to my mind and both are Rolling Stones songs: 1. "Monkey Man" 2. "Sympathy for the Devil" Now if I think long and hard enough I know that I could come up with dozens more. I would only consider other groups songs that I think would somehow fit into the other bands/Led Zeppelin sort of scheme of music (in other words, great Rock and Roll songs from other "classic" rock groups). More examples: 3. "Sweet Leaf" (Black Sabbath) 4. "Helter Skelter" (the Beatles) 5. "Seasons of Wither" (Aerosmith)...
Stryder1978
Without a doubt, "Mistreated" by Deep Purple. A perfect fit with the bluesy wail of Plant, and the thought of listening to Page improvise the outro solo makes me shiver. And plenty of room for Bonzo and Jonesy to add their flavor to the rhythm section as well!

Aaaa..Good question man!! For me it would be an old Blues number, any one of the classics from the 20's or 30's would get it right.
