"LED ZEPPELIN: The Aughts"

or "See You Again When It's Ten (or more) Years Gone."

Percy quote in 2028:

"Seeing that Pagey is now 84-years-old, it might be nice if we did something like we did way back in 2007 in London, a nice, quick one-off deal. As soon as I finish the tour for my Shambala Blues album."

Although it sounds like we'll have to wait for the official release of the O2 concert, I think maybe we can help Jimmy out by supplying some possible titles of the DVD release. I like:

"The DNA Remains the Same"

"Listen to this Harvey"

"For Passcode Holders Only"

I think 'The DNA Remains the Same is GREAT!

Segovia played guitar into his 80s. Course his guitars weighed less...

I can't help but think of David Letterman introducing a band by saying,

"Hey kids, do you like the rock and roll?"

That's what pops into my head.

:D (Can't find a gap-toothed emoticon...)

I can see his sly little grin while he says it, too.

The Foo Fighters are Letterman's favorite band, he often gives them kudos for "fearlessly fighting foo" on our behalf . . . There's probably some significance here, if only I could think of it.

Sounds like a Dr. Suess book... Dave fights a foo?

"Foo fighters" were what military pilots called formations of UFOs they'd encounter in the sky during WWII. It would be nice to know why. Since these are the same great guys who gave us SNAFU and such, I have a guess for the first letter... but it could just be the speaking of "ufo" as a word instead of an acronym, diminished down to "foo." (Manders, where are you? We need a cunning linguist. :) )

Members of The Foo Fighters would seem to be aliens from another planet, then. :D

Anyway, they were/are great X-Files fans, Dave Grohl is a friend of Chris Carter's, and he and his wife appeared as an extra in an episode. The Foo Fighters also recorded music for the movie. I think that's how they got their band name, from the X-Files, but I could be remembering wrong.

(You probably already know all that, just trying to get to the bottom of it, myself.)

Horton hears a Foo??

Or Green Eggs and Ham!

And I would hear them in a boat.

And I would hear them with a goat...

And I will hear them in the rain.

And in the dark. And on a train.

And in a car. And in a tree.

They are so good, so good, you see!

So I will hear them in a box.

And I will hear them with a fox.

And I will hear them in a house.

And I will hear them with a mouse.

And I will hear them here and there.

Say! I will hear them ANYWHERE!

Okay, I'm done! :bagoverhead:
