manderlyh
My grandparents never talk about money. I don't know what they got out of it. They had a convertible Studebaker, too. I don't know when they got rid of that one or what year it was or anything.
Virginia
My first car was a Ford Maverick; similar to this, but a lovely shade of brown, with AM radio
manderlyh
My mom's first car was that exact car! But it had a black stripe running down it. And I drew on it once with El-Marko. I got in a lot of trouble for that, LOL. (I was 2, and I think someone was doing a really bad job at keeping an eye on me.)

*I*LOVE*JIMMY!!
If I had a car I would like a Mini Cooper, I think they are so cute. As it is now I ride a Kawasaki Ninja 650R 2008, I had a 2007 but I had a slight accident, OOPs oh well. The color of mine is banana yellow. They can see me coming from miles. And yes it took me some time to get used to the handling but I have rode a motorcycle for as long as I can remember.
MadScreamingGallery
My first car (my husband bought this for me - when it came to driving and owning a car, I was a late bloomer): When we lived outside of the U.S., depending upon the country, we owned several different cars: In North Africa (various countries), we owned a series of Renaults (6, 8, 12) with the shift next to the steering wheel - it looked like an umbrella handle. We drove them into the ground, sold them, and replaced them (all used models). Workhorses that were fun to drive and, even in the most remote villages, someone knew how to repair them: In Southern Africa, we drove a VW Combi. The most fun to drive because the steering wheel was on the other side! In India, the Hindustan:
MadScreamingGallery
Now, back in the U.S., because of where we life and our lifestyle, we drive Toyota Tundras (and because we really do need it to drive unpaved hilly ranch roads, one is a 4WD)

Virginia
I had one just like that, same color but a four door. Cool! They were good sturdy cars, that's for sure. I put a *lot* of miles on her in college! Another color would've been nice though; the brown was really pretty ugly. My family also had an eggplant colored Ford Ranch Wagon (70, I think); I couldn't find a picture of one of those, though. It was even uglier than the Beast. I'm driving an Explorer now, but feeling really bad about gas mileage. I want something more environmentally friendly that will hold 7 people, but not cost an arm and a leg. Pb Derigable
We made the mistake of only installing a 20ft rope. So we had to wear a paintball mask so your face didn't get snowed filled. And the fact that my friend got up to 30mph with me on the rope, jammed on the brakes, somehow the jeep stopped imeditly and i flew under my jeep. I hit my head on the rear axle and i went feet first.
