Another political quiz

You like your government very, very small—or none at all. You are a hardcore libertarian. Want to run for Congress? State legislature? Join the Libertarian Party and they'll put you on the ballot. The Libertarian Party wins few partisan offices, but it does get the message out sometimes. And it does win some non-partisan races.

Approximately 9% of the takers of this quiz scored in this area, 31% for all libertarians outside the centrist circle.

I kinda knew this before I took the test. I used to belong to the Libertarian Party of Ontario, and Canada. But I found that my outspoken political views got me in too much trouble with friends and family so I toned it down over the years.

Radical Liberal...........lYou want government out of your personal life. On the other hand, you want more government in your economic life. This puts you closest to either the Green Party or the radical wing of the Democratic Party. You might even consider yourself a socialist, or a “true” communist (as opposed to the “state capitalists” who ran the old Soviet Union). Approximately 3% of the takers of this quiz scored in this area, 18% for all liberals outside the centrist circle.

me and Uncle BIll are the closest thing to right you're gonna get unless Del and String take the quiz

Sorry dude, the right just isn't popular in old school rock. ;)

I used to be pretty right-wing, religion in the government and whatnot, but in the end, I'm just a very capitalistic guy, who embraces religion but doesn't want it to run the country. Ah well, politics sucks anyways :P

Its weird how me being 25 years old, in a democratic controlled state and city. I hate most religions i love science, came from a poor family, but yet I'm pure right wing. Maybe it's pride. There is alot of things I'm pretty liberal about. In fact i would say I'm am a liberal, but to balance things out, I take Conservatives stances. I do believe govt. should help the poor, but i do know people take advantage of that, so i say let the strongest survive. I think my main motivation for being right wing is i believe people should be responsible for themselves.

Like i said, I'm happy being in the country club. In fact I may join one, and I'm just a construction worker. 25year old pipe-fitter teeing it up with judges. LOL

I think I'm called a Reagan democrat. or a mccainacrates. I just don't care for the religion aspects of the right wing, but i do respect the pope and all his glory. He do think religion is good, but they are the most hypocritical.

I just get pissed when i see $600 dollars taken out of my paycheck every week now. 5 years ago i only made 600 a week.

Social Liberal

You want government out of people's personal lives, but you appear to desire some continued government control over people's economic activities. There is no political party that represents your views. The Green Party does run many candidates with similar views, but the overall Green Party platform is much more socialistic than you are. You would need a mix of Democratic, Green, and Libertarian politicians in office to get the balance of freedom and social justice you desire. The ratio between these depends on how high up your dot is on the chart.

Heres another one

Conservative/Progressive score: 4

You are a social moderate. You think the progressive movement is overall well meaning, but sometimes it goes too far. On issues like abortion and affirmative action, you see the negatives of both extremes on the issue. You probably value religion, but at the same time you think it should still stay separate from the government

Capitalist Purist/Social Capitalist score: 2

You're a Capitalist Purist. You believe that the market should be completely free, and that the invisible hand of the market will make sure that the people get what they want and will do it in the most efficient way possible. You believe in small government, less taxes, and more privatization.

Libertarian/Authoritarian score: 2

You are libertarian. You think that the government is making way too many unnecessary laws that are taking away our innate rights. You believe that the government's job is primarily to protect people from harming other people, but after that they should mind their own business, and if we give the government too much power in controlling our lives, it can lead to fascism.

Pacifist/Militarist score: 2

You're a Pacifist. You are angered that the United States thinks it should dominate the world through its military force. You think that the only time war is necessary is when we are in direct danger of being attacked. You also believe the US spends way too much of its money on defense, as we can practically cut it in half and still easily defend ourselves, and use that money to fix all our economic problems.

Overall, you would most likely fit into the category of Libertarian

Capitalist Purist/Social Capitalist score: 10

You're a Social Capitalist, you think that, left to its own, Capitalism leaves a lot of people behind. You think that Health Care should be free to all, that the minimum wage should be raised, and that the government should provide jobs to all that are capable of having them. You likely hated the Bush tax cuts, and believe that the middle class has gotten poorer, and the rich have gotten richer over the past several years. The far extreme of social capitalism is socialism.
