percy thrower Posted April 26, 2008 Share Posted April 26, 2008 Hi I wondered if anyone here had heard The Flies - they come from my home town of Bristol, and are amazing, it's Sean Cook who used to be in Spiritualized and two other guys. The album is awesome, really hypnotic, beguiling, kind of Shangri-Las meets Roy Orbison on a David Lynch movie set. There are whiffs of Led Zep (whiffs is probably not the right word!!).
