The lineup for Britain's legendary Glastonbury music festival has been leaked two days ahead of schedule amid controversy over headline act Jay-Z and poor ticket sales.

Music magazine NME's website boasted it had a "world exclusive" early Monday, unveiling a full lineup two days before the official disclosure. The lineup is usually a closely guarded secret.Canadian poet and singer Leonard Cohen, pictured here in 2007 at a concert in Warsaw, Poland, is performing at the Glastonbury music festival this year, according to a leaked list.Canadian poet and singer Leonard Cohen, pictured here in 2007 at a concert in Warsaw, Poland, is performing at the Glastonbury music festival this year, according to a leaked list. According to the leaked report, rapper Jay-Z will be the top draw on Saturday night, June 28, on the Pyramid stage.

On the opening night, Friday, American acts Kings of Leon and Panic At the Disco hold the top spots, while Verve and Groove Armada wrap up the 38-year-old festival on Sunday evening along with Canadian Leonard Cohen.

High-profile musicians, including Oasis member Noel Gallagher, have lambasted the festival for choosing a rap star as its big draw instead of continuing with its tradition of rock.

"Glastonbury has a tradition of guitar music.… I'm not having hip hop at Glastonbury. It's wrong," said Gallagher.

Oasis was a headline act at Glastonbury in 1995 and 2004.

Tickets have sold out within hours in previous years but 2008 is proving to be a tough slog. After 37,500 tickets were left unpurchased, organizers had to reopen registration.

The world's biggest music festival is run by Michael Eavis and his daughter, Emily, at their farm in Shepton Mallet, in the Somerset region of England.

More than 150,000 people attended the event last year, with the Arctic Monkeys and The Who as headline acts.

Other acts appearing at the festival, according to the leaked lineup, are:

Friday, June 27:

* The Gossip.

* KT Tunstall.

* Kate Nash.

* We Are Scientists.

* Ben Folds.

* Vampire Weekend.

* MGMT.

* Glasvegas.

Saturday, June 28:

* Manu Chao.

* The Raconteurs.

* Crowded House.

* Hot Chip.

* Duffy.

* Biffy Clyro.

* Band of Horses.

Sunday, June 29:

* Goldfrapp.

* John Mayer.

* The Pigeon Detectives.

* Mark Ronson.

* Hoodoo Gurus.

* Brian Jonestown Massacre.
