misty mountain
Maybe a Led zeppelin tour could be on hold until all the want- a- bee's bands ;(like I wont mention any names ;cause David coverdale might realize that I'm on to him) Bands that aren't worthy of any mention on this awesome site .Maybe Jimmy,Robert, John p jones are just waiting for the "right time" for a big announcement ;when all the copycat groups have done there dash and released there "were back albums "Is timing the key to unleashing a new album/recording and tour schedule when there's so many "coming back". Knebby
Don't quite understand the reference to Coverdale, as he hasn't reformed Whitesnake on the back of the Zeppelin reunion - they reunited a few years ago (cleverly managing to do that with a whole gang of new faces. )

Peep Solero
Come on it's nothing new…bands were doing it long before Led Zeppelin. I can think of a dozen groups (like The Who in 89, 96, 97) that swear it's their final reunion show but tour for ages long after. The surge may climax when one group gets it right…others figure they can also pull it off and go on the road. I mean here in Israel we had The Stooges last year and this summer is heaving Siouxsie from the Banshees and Morrissey, talk about opening a flood gate. FireOpal
Morrissey has reunited with himself? No, Morrissey is still and always bitterly estranged from himself. He did however reportedly "jam" (not my word choice) with Chrissie Hynde and JEFF BECK (!) this past week, according to the New York Post's Page Six: May 10, 2008 -- CHRISSY Hynde, Morrissey and British rock god Jeff Beck set up shop in the lobby of the Sunset Marquis in LA the other day for an impromptu concert. "They were jamming," said our spy. "But many of the guests just walked by. They played for four hours, and then Julian Lennon joined them. Some younger types walked by as if they were total losers trying to get a record deal." But soon they were recognized, and the lobby was crowded with fans. mos6507
Whitesnake is more of a brand than a band because the only consistent member is David Coverdale.
