dpat Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Does anybody remember what those black circular rings (that obviously are there because they resemble vinyl records) are on the back cover of Coda? Are they underground nuclear test sites plugged up? Are they some sort of weather testing? I saw similar photos in grade school, but never saw anything like them again until Coda was released. Thanks. Quote
croquet'n'cocaine Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 I'm guessing desert irrigation? Water supply in the middle with giant rotating arm spraying water on crops. Looks similar anyway. Quote
SteveAJones Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Correct. Desert irrigation. There appears to be 10 which corresponds to the ten albums Led Zeppelin released, to include Coda. Quote

Zep's music is like an oasis of life in a barren desert. A continuation towards the Crop Circles on the first 4-CD Zep Box Set? Quote
Agamemnon Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 THANKS!! Zep's music is like an oasis of life in a barren desert. A continuation towards the Crop Circles on the first 4-CD Zep Box Set? That's what first came to mind after I read this topic. Quote

Reggie29 Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 This has already been discussed in another thread on another forum. http://forums.ledzeppelin.com//index.php?s...mp;#entry184702 Quote
