misty mountain Posted May 23, 2008 Share Posted May 23, 2008 I was wondering why Robert seemed to have left out some of his own songs(from his solo career) to sing duet/ harmonize with Alison krauss.Songs like"song to the siren"and "morning dew" "if i were a carpenter "etc.these are some of his best songs during his solo career (theres lots more of course)Could it be a royalty/commission/permission problem from band members/co writers etc from previous bands that he's played with that prevents him from singing some of HIS best solo songs?
