moffo
Thats the one I am going to Are you sitting or standing? I'm sat near the front of the upper tier (the stalls is it?). Can't wait, I never thought i'd get to see them live. Shame it's not the originals though. But they still sound great!
Hotplant
Well, it may not be the NEXT, since it's not until April, but I will see BB King. At Kingsbury Hall here up at the U of U. Nothing sweet on the horizon right now. Edited December 20, 2008 by Hotplant
mightyzep247
I'm not sure if these are definitely next because they're in April and I go to a lot of concerts, but April 15-Buddy Guy and April 16-JPJ!!!!!!!! Also, I don't think anybody really cares, but I feel like saying this. I made a list of all the concerts I've been to the other day and I've been to 45 concerts. That's not bad for a 14 year old. I'll probably go to at the very least 100 by the time I'm 18. Jeez. Edited December 29, 2008 by mightyzep247
Virginia
Haven't gotten tickets yet but I think we're going to see Dave Matthews in April (at JPJ arena).

Let me guess, you are a die hard hard core BEATLES fan huh? ME TOO! I LOVE THE BEATLES! They are my all-time favorite band in the whole wide world with LED ZEPPELIN, THE ROLLING STONES, PINK FLOYD, THE KINKS and THE WHO right behind them. ROCK ON! Virginia
Trying to pick between the Grateful Dead (current) and Dave Matthews Band ... (playing nearby the same week; can't do both).
Jahfin
Trying to pick between the Grateful Dead (current)... Just to clarify, there is no band presently touring under the name "the Grateful Dead". The surviving members of the Grateful Dead along with Warren Haynes (Allman Brothers Band/Gov't Mule) and Jeff Chimenti (Ratdog) are touring as "The Dead".
JethroTull
Currently there are NO shows on my schedule. My wife has mentioned wanting to see Springsteen, since he will probably tour to promote the new CD. I'm not as enthusiastic, having been to a bunch of Springsteen shows in recent years. I just checked and you're right; they are still using that skull logo though, so it registered as Grateful Dead Edited January 7, 2009 by Virginia
BUCK'EYE' DOC
As posted before, but now the time is nigh! Going to AC/DC on Sunday in Cincinnati with my brother!
Jahfin
I just checked and you're right; they are still using that skull logo though, so it registered as Grateful Dead No problem. Out of respect for Jerry I hope they never feel compelled to perform under the name "the Grateful Dead". That just wouldn't be right.

Jahfin
Agreed. Doubt they would though. Me either but I absolutely abhor how the press has reported this as a "Grateful Dead" tour when it's actually "the Dead". It's also fucked up how they've referred to it as a "reunion" when "the Dead" has actually toured before. What it comes down to is a way for them to garner headlines but it comes across as the media not actually doing their research on the subject. That's how it strikes me anyhow. The media sure have a knack for that - it's no different than what they're doing with the whole Jimmy/John Paul/Jason project. Looking for a singer for their new project has turned into they're replacing Robert for a Zep tour

To me, it makes them (the media) look like a bunch of fucking idiots who haven't even bothered to do their legwork on the subject.
Aquamarine
Tonight CNN did a piece on the Dead tour in which they did explain that it was under the name "the Dead" and why. On the other hand, they did refer to it as a reunion.
Roxie
Motley Crue in March. But I hope something comes up before that before I go into withdrawal.
