Tuesday June 14: Silver Apples @ The Troubadour...with Gap Dream.

Before Kraftwerk. Before Can. Before Cluster. Before Neu! Before Tangerine Dream. There was Silver Apples.

Looks like I'll be checking out Kraftwerk here in Dallas at the Bomb Factory.... Looks to be as cool visually as it will be sonically.

I'm loving the sound of the Vanilla Kush.
Hybrid AND 25+%???
Want.

It is really amazing... Should be legal in all 50 states.... at some point I'll pull up the legalization thread and go into detail...

I have seen Kraftwerk 5 times, 4 since the 1998 comeback, and yes, you are in for a treat. Kraftwerk hits the Hollywood Bowl later this summer and I can't wait.

If Silver Apples comes your way, definitely GO!

Tonight...Tonight...

July 14: West Side Story @ Hollywood Bowl.

Actually went to two shows last night. After West Side Story, I went to see Jesika Von Rabbit (she used to have a band Gram Rabbit) play a birthday bash at Harvard & Stone...just a short subway ride from the Bowl.

Tonight, the Wombats by invitation of a friend who says they are great. Hope so, as I'll miss the Black Lips who are in town tonight too, ouch.

Were the Wombats worth missing the Black Lips?

^ Have a great show!  They were very good.

Thanks!!!

I actually did not buy a ticket, one of my friends and co-workers offered me a ticket when the person who he originally bought the ticket for never answered or returned my friends calls about paying for the ticket.  I told my friend that I would not accept a "free" ticket and told him I would pay him more than half for the ticket.  About $40.

Who is the opener?  Being at the Cowboys stadium will make that show epic!

Jealous about those shows.

Sam the Astronaut - Tomorrow night @ Media Club - My Kid's current band, alt pop.

Duran Duran - August, big arena show.

Explosions In The Sky - September in a beautiful 995 person venue.

Sticky Fingers - October. Very cool Aussie band. Very fun live. My favorite venue in Vancouver, holds 1,150 people.

Margo Price - October. Really looking forward to this. Best release of the year in my opinion. Old school country that really struck a chord with me somehow. Small and personal venue.

Opeth - October. Been waiting to see them for five plus year.

The Kills - Novembers, somewhere in France.
