This is probably more of a superstition; despite being a lapsed Catholic, I still keep a St. Christopher medal in my purse, and when we were trying to sell our house, we buried a St. Joseph medal on the property

Can't vote on your subcategory. I get an error message.

My handle is Evster2012. Draw your own conclusions!

Annunakki? Zecharia Sitchen? Aliens hybridizing the upright walking monkey, creating a laborer? Pre-biblical Noah stories (Utnapishtim)? Gilgamesh? Mayan Long Count Calendar? I'm your guy!

Anyone who knows AND can spell Utnapishtim from the Epic of Gilgamesh is cool to me. Tetragrammaton brother!

I believe in karma, but not in a god.

I think people in our govt. killed JFK

Time traveling is real, but it's not like what you think

I do believe in aliens and underground bases, but not them together.

Free energy is called Nuke energy since running out of atoms will never happen

It's hard for me to choose whom i hate more, people who belier we did not land on the moon, people who believe 9/11 was more than terrorists deciding to kill us, people who think Darwin was a moron and global warming.

my big conspiracy is that Microsoft threw allot of money into HDDVD so it will compete with bluray until movie downloads reached popularity and than pull out because bluray will not be as popular as the DVD. since Microsoft own a good portion of the movie download business, they win the war because more movies will be downloaded than bought on bluray in 5 years.

and the fact high speed Internet companies can give everybody in the USA a 20mb connection with a flip of a switch and it will not cost them a penny more. probably faster, alot faster. once you get past 10mb downloading, you can stream pure hd movies like as if you're watching a bluray and 40mb (maybe less MB with less features) you can watch every single cable channel in HD without lag (i.p. tv which is in the neitherlands). but if that happens, comcast and other cable companies will lose the cable business.

the oil companies may be pounding us in the ass, but the cable companies is pounding our father in the ass also.

Spot on, spot on~ B)

"Something's lost that can't be found, please St. Anthony look around."

I still remember that from when I was a kid.

I believe our government lies to us constantly, invades our privacy without us knowing, and most likely tests things on us without us knowing. Our government is so corrupt that No, our vote probably does not count....

You are correct! 100% 5 years of working at the top level, literally.

But first, are you experienced?

Uh-have you ever been experienced-uh?

Well, I have

(well) I know, I know, youll probably scream and cry

That your little world wont let you go

But who in your measly little world, (-uh)

Are you tryin to prove to that youre

Made out of gold and-uh, cant be sold

So-uh, are you experienced?

Have you ever been experienced? (-uh)

Well, I have

I'm very interested in Quantum Theory and its explanation of the universe, which has sparked my interest in the notion of time travel (not from the typical viewpoint though.. with the big clunky time machines). It's caused me to question how, as a whole, we've tended to look at reality..

Is anyone else interested in this? I'm not a pro in the field by any means.. it's just an area of research that fascinates me, and gives me hope for a more exciting understanding of the universe(s?) and reality.

Hard time keeping up here this post blossomed!

Here's a page from a book I wrote back in 2000, some weird channeled stuff I didn't ask for. D.C. is a weird place!

Thanks for the link :) I'll have to read into it at some time besides the early morning hours.. haha ;)

Here is a series on Youtube that I found fascinating. The physicist, Michio Kaku, especially starts to explain more about String Theory in part two, but I would encourage everyone to watch the whole series. I think it's inspiring.

Part 1:

Part 2:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MMG7LA4Rsq8

Part 3:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NOzP6XhtAXo

Part 4:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Du0LqsBe_iw

Most every video that features Michio Kaku speaking about the theory fascinates me. There are quite a few on Youtube.

Anyone that is interested in Quantum Theory & similar stuff. There's a multi-disc DVD set entitled “What the F#*k? Down the Rabbit Hole” I’m not kidding and it’s not a porn movie. It a really neat outline explaining this stuff to everyone. It stars Marline Matlin and it has a cool “Quantum” feature where it never plays the same way twice, basically a randomizer for the chapters, but drives the point home. I think it’s 2-3 complete DVD’s (been about 6 months since I watched it) it jumped off the shelf at me at Wal-Mart.

^ I like to think about stuff like that too, it's trippy though. Hard to fathom just how amazing the world really is. Although I happen to know that that the exact other side of the planet from where I live is in the North Atlantic Ocean so there is no one standing up, but I see what you mean :) . It's also interesting to think about what it would be like to be someone else.

There is no pain, you are receding.

A distant ships smoke on the horizon.

You are only coming through in waves.

Your lips move but I cant hear what youre sayin.

When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse,

Out of the corner of my eye.

I turned to look but it was gone.

I cannot put my finger on it now.

The child is grown, the dream is gone.

I have become comfortably numb.

We watched that series in my college philosophy class :) I actually found it on Youtube as well. It's separated into sixteen videos:

Here is the link to the first part of the series. The other fifteen can be found on the poster's profile. Just type in "Down the rabbit hole" in their search bar:

Didn't see anything on the list that really could be checked off save maybe Hillary is bad.

One thing I'll never understand is that people still think that the Apollo Moon Landing is fake when most conspiracy theories have basically been disproven over ad over and over again.

And second, the Lochness Monster...come on people, it's not real. I mean really, how much evidence is out there besides that fake video? Seriously, of all the monster stories out there, that one is the stupidest

How about some of the crazy sports rumors.

Cal Ripken caught Kevin Costner banging his wife before a home game. He was so mad, he called the oriels front office and told him he wasn't playing today an hour before the game. At the time, he was only a year away from the record. So the oriels management had instructed the on site electrician to cause a blackout so the game would not be played. There was game not played that was caused by a weird blackout on a otherwise normal day. Cal was friends with Kevin and Kevin was at the game the day before. But some people have claim to see Cal that day at the ballpark.

Micheal Jordan first retirement was an suspension for gambling on NBA games. the retirement was exactly 18 month's. (end of the finial's to the comeback) which would've been the penalty for gambling on NBA games.. Jordan was talking about retiring during the first championship season, so this may be rumor.

When Patrick Ewing was coming out, the NBA wanted the Knicks to get him so they can be good again. So the envelope was frozen so the commish could tell which one was it. Every sports person on the ESPN believes this.

The people of that area have said they do it for tourists and to have at persons who will believe anything. They sit and laugh as they see more and more interest.

People get bored and want something to do she they create things which don't exist. Plus too many years ago passing along stories was a fav passtime that we lose sight of in the modern world. To me people telling stories and being together telling them and seeing a persons eyes and responses is a way way better proposition.

Crop circles? More nonsense, there are even videos which show how they did it.

Bigfoot. There is no big foot for gods sake. There are people in monkey suits and people who just don't wanna admit they are wrong because they are stubborn.

Aleins. Good one, very good one, this is the only one which has been shown it may very well be true.

There are things we don't understand in the world........

Imagination?

This I'm a firm believer in...

The world is all about the people.....

Virtual reality? Computers are reality, just an extension of it.

I believe in aliens, I don't think we are the only intellegent race out there, the universe is huge.

I marked your vote doesn't count, but I don't know if it means what I think it does. If it means that even if you do vote, your vote doesn't actually count because of the electorial college then, yes, I believe it.

I also marked Bigfoot, I think that there is a creature out there, but I don't think it's what everyone makes it. It's just another animal, not something that is out to kill humans, etc.

I said Loch Ness too, for the same reasons as Bigfoot. I think there is an animal there, just not what people have it all made up to be.

And last but not least, time travel. I believe it's possible. Then again, I'm told a have a big imagination, it's probably the part of me who wants to attend Woodstock and live in the Haight Ashbury when it was the place to be.

I don't know what a few things are on the list so I didn't check them.

Back in 2000, June I was getting ready to go to work at Andrews AFB, MD. I was putting on my boots and I heard my daughter screaming down at the little creek behind our house in Landover, MD, off route 214, right next to FedEx Field. I ran out the back and found my daughter sitting IN THE Creek crying. I asked what was wrong but she could only point down the creek.

I brought her up to the house and finally got her to speak. Long story short; it was a creature that was half-man/half-goat! Lower half goat w/ backwards knees, hooves, ect. Upper half mannish, hands five fingered, chest, but with the head of a goat with ram style horns (circular). She drew us a picture.

I didn't know what to say, and my duaghter had been raised around every kinda of animal and been hunting with me and knows animals. I went back down to the creek and found a broken trail of undergrowth and I heard dogs barking up the creek a few hundred yards. I NEVER saw anything, except I came up to a little spot where a burrowing animal had dug out some critter-hole. Where the dirt was pushed back was a huge cloven hoof print in the dirt. As big as an Elk print, and I know my animals. I got a little nervous at that point.

I came back to the house and went to work and didn't know what to think. I told some very close buddies about it but didn't want to go to my boss because of the high clearance I had. It was a long night and I got home and simply Google'd the only thing I could label it. "Goat Man" to my shock the first hit was "The Legend of Goatman, Prince George's County Maryland" I was blown away. It had stories dating back to the 1930's and a crapload of sightings along Lottsford Road and the same creek that runs all the way out by Bowie, Md.

Me and my wife were floored, because our daughter hadn't been on the web, or even heard of such a thing. And the damned hoof print was enough for me! We had whitetail deer around that area, but their tracks are max 3 inches across, this track was about 6 in wide and 9 inches long. I kick myself in the ass for not getting a picture but I was starting to run late for work and I was a little bewildered.

We had a lot of other weird stuff happen out there too, like the night of Sept 10 2001, but I'll save that for later.
