L.A. was Led Zeppelin's golden stomping ground, their home away from home, so it would seem to follow that many of the people on this board might hail from the Los Angeles and Orange counties. On the eve of one of the most anticipated NBA Championships in recent memory, against our ancient hated rivals the Boston Celtics, it is time for us Laker fans to band together...hell, you don't even have to be a Laker fan, you might just hate the Boston Celtics, or anything to do with Boston: the Red Sox, Patriots, John Kerry, Clam Chowder, whatever. We missed nearly the entire game because Dish Network was having technical difficulties that weren't resolved until the last 4:24 minutes. Anyone else have that problem? I did catch that slam dunk Garnett made at the last 2 minutes, BAM! loved it!! Don't know who to root for...my loyalties lie with LA but Boston's team looks more exciting. Boston has proved they are not good on the road. But they cant just play the perimiter game or they will be beaten. I am not a fan of either. So my opinion is that of an outside unbiased observer. Boston was probably lucky to get the Lakers rather than San Antonio. Because of the inside advantage. Next year Houston get Ming back and should be tough. So will New Orleans, Lakers and Phoenix.
