zeptangerine
I'm having a lot of fun with this thread; some of other forum posts that are just too soap-opera, or depressing, or some a-hole wants to spoil everyone's party- but not here! Back to fashion. How could we miss this one??

zeptangerine
Isn't this Jimmy's old passport photo? Yikes- my expression on my London bus pass photo from the 90s looked exactly like his, except my hair was 4 inches shorter! Nice scarf, too- how did he knot it? Something tells me he's got a skill for scarf tying like no one else in the world...then and now. ...damn he looks good in leather...
lucyinthesky
I've read that Jimmy still has all all his outfits from the zep era. Wouldn't it be nice to break in???
zeptangerine
I've read that Jimmy still has all all his outfits from the zep era. Wouldn't it be nice to break in??? Right on- we can hire the same guy who broke into Jimmy's house in the 80s and stole all of Jimmy's concert sound-board and video tapes! He was a real pro. Where is that bastard these days? Probably still selling his stolen goods in Japan, in the same store Jimmy's standing in with the white scarf...
zeptangerine
Speaking of rock outfits... years ago, I saw a pair of Brian Jones' white pants in a glass case at the Hard Rock Cafe in Baltimore. He was a short fella! RIP. He did have some bitchin' outfits. I'm certain he and Jimmy bought from the same boutiques in the '60s. (got this pic of Brian from a site called- no joke- dandyism.net!) (maybe Jimmy bought from the discount rack at the same boutique...)
Roxie
Brian Jones was one of the best dressed rock stars of his era. I guess Anita Pallenberg had alot to do with it, but it worked. In one of Pamela Des Barres books she mentions the name of the shop in England that Robert used to get some of his clothes from in the 70's. I'm guessing Jimmy would've gone there too. I know that Granny Takes A Trip was one of the main shops where musicians would get clothes from, but I'm pretty sure it was another place. Need to go re-read that part!
