gatorgabe Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 I think it's Physical Graffiti, and this recent article on the Gibson guitar website backs me up. Check it out ... do you agree? If not, what's your favorite Zep album? http://www.gibson.com/en%2Dus/Lifestyle/Fe...%2Ddouble%2Dth/ Quote

ZepDomi Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 Houses of the Holy is my favorite and it's the main reason I became a big Zep fan. Quote
Strider Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 The best Led Zeppelin album is...whatever Zeppelin album you happen to be listening to at that moment. Each album to me has a specific flow, a unique mood and aura to them...which is why I always prefer listening to their albums as opposed to any compilation such as "Mothership" or "Remasters". Presence...Physical Graffiti...LZ III...they are all great and I could no more choose which is my favourite than which of my two nieces are my favourite. So, whatever mood you are in, or whatever Zeppelin album you have handy at the moment, that is the best Zeppelin album...the one you are listening to right now. Quote
slagfarmer Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 Houses of the holy...They are all masterpieces. Hard to pick just one Quote
jimmypage4ever Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 well i cant quit listening to prescence. Its a very underated album Quote

aen27 Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Physical Graffitti, but follows closely by LZ 1. Quote
timothy5151 Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Houses Of The Holy...with In The Evening a close second. Quote
reids Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 hopefully, the one they haven't made yet.... In the meantime, IV (today). Tomorrow, it might be Houses or PG R Quote
Jimmy's A Legend Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 I personaly feel that zep don't have a best album..well i guess it's the mothership becuase: a: people have different tastes in music b:each zep album has a different genre/s of music c: i perosnaly feel that you can't listen to one album and get the full taste of zeppelin,it's on;y a part of zep, to me it's like only reading one chapter out of a book. They're all great but if I had to choose one, it would be LED ZEPPELIN II because it was the band's first number one album. LED ZEPPELIN II actually knocked THE BEATLES' Abbey Road album off of the number one spot and went to number one where it remained for two to three more weeks. ROCK ON! Quote
Xorq Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 A very tricky question. I haven't listened to all albums intensively but so far my favourites are: II,III and Houses of the Holy. Quote
MegaRiff101 Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Best album? Its gotta be... Led Zeppelin, the one with the old man on the front. Thats a bloody awesome album, with nearly all of their best tracks on (excluding Kashmir and the Ocean) Quote
bluexylophone Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Zeppelin III speaks to me the most. but it's practically impossible to pick one. Quote
