marolyn Posted August 22, 2008 Share Posted August 22, 2008 If you live in Alaska and aren't a felon you should be getting a check. i don't live in alaska, sorry if i confused you (i am blonde, polish, and have a typing deficiency)...i was referring to all of the drilling going on on federal lands and in territorial waters that fall under the u.s. gov auspices...how come every american doesn't get a check since those places are owned by all us citizens and are protected using taxpayer dollars? i know that alaskans get a check, but i'm wondering why?
