Hello! I know you love JANIS as much as I do but what about "Me And Bobby McGee," "Cry Baby," "Trust Me" and "Bye Bye Baby?" I love these songs so dearly because they come from Janis' heart. What do you think?

My Generation

Satisfaction

A Day in the Life

Good Vibrations

Stairway to Heaven

Bohemian Rhapsody

Smells Like Teen Spirit

These aren't my particular favorites, but they're usually in any poll taken on the greatest rock songs of all time. Must be a reason.

Define "Perfect Rock Song". This is starting to look like a "Your favorite songs" thread, IMO.

Anyway, if I were to chose a song, it would be "Like a Rolling Stone" by Bob Dylan. And probably "Free Bird" by Lynyrd Skynyrd. And my third choice would be "Nothing else matters" by Metallica.

Other songs: Ramblin' Man (Allman Brothers Band), Layla (Eric Clapton), Born Under a Bad Sign (Albert King), The Thrill is Gone (BB King), Wind of Change (Scorpions), All Along the Watchtower (Jimi Hendrix).

And a special mention to Johnny B Goode by Chuck Berry.

(And of course, many Zepp songs.)
