Evster2012
I'd like to see Jimmy Page team up with Jeff Beck again for double lead attacks.. like they did in The Yardbrds. Have you REALLY listened to that stuff (what little there is)? Jimmy went from backup bassist to second guitarist. I find the stuff when he was freed of Beck to be much more firey! But that's just my opinion (Mickie Most's production on Little Games is up to you. I say meh.). A: The Jeff Beck Group B: Led Zeppelin I See where I'm goin? Anarchy2Howard
Er.. kinda.. Although, I knew someone who went to a Page/Beck Yardbirds gig.. he described it as "an explosion of rapid double Blues guitar attacks" or something similar.. Well, I haven't heard any recordings that bare that out, and we know how people went to shows in those days! Page was rising, Beck was breaking down. Maybe they had moments where the planets aligned. I just haven't heard any evidence of it. Not to say it didn't happen. Guess your friend was truly lucky!
Carrieanna31
I'm a bit on the fence with Page/Dio. Might be a kick ass collaboration or it might leave you saying "WTF"? Page can totally keep up with the Metal aspect of Dio but he can't be confined to that box. Page and Malmsteen? Ah, no. I love Malmsteen. Love Jimmy Page even more. But I don't think those 2 would mix together very well. Personality and technique wise. Perhaps Luca Turilli and Malmsteen, Yes. But not Jimmy. Olipticle
lol yeah man its a tough call, I mean jimmy and dio maybe for something slow and acoustic, but i mean malsteen... i dont think so he has his own style and way to make his music. Plus you couldnt fit malsteens ego in the same room as jimmy it just wouldnt jive man.
