This is for all of my fellow die hard hard core ZEPPELIN fanatics to answer. WHAT WAS THE CRAZIEST THING THAT YOU EVER DID IN A THEATER WHILE WATCHING THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME? As for me, there are also many to tell but I'll begin with two of them. One of them, I lit a joint in the auditorium and the ashes landed on my seat which would catch on fire. Here I am running up and down the aisle hitting my ass hoping that it wouldn't catch fire. The other one was when a couple of friends and I lit 3 bottle rockets in the auditorium and they hit the ceiling leaving three black marks with one of the bottle rockets landing on the curtain and catching fire. After that, the manager stopped the film for 20 minutes, used a fire extinguisher to put out the fire and grabbed all three of us and escorted us out of the theater. How bout all of you? AGAIN, I KNOW THAT ALL OF YOU HAVE STORIES TO TELL, I WOULD REALLY LOVE TO HEAR THEM. ROCK ON!

How's it going fellow die hard hard core ZEPPELIN fanatics? I just had to bring this thread back. Reading all of the contents in this thread, one can't help but laugh at some of the stories in this thread. However, I feel that there are STILL more stories out there that are just waiting to be told. C-O-M-E O-N!!!!!!!!!!! Better yet, go to the "WHAT WAS THE CRAZIEST THING THAT YOU EVER DID AT A LED ZEPPELIN CONCERT?" Thread, you should have some good laughs reading that one too. In the mean time, ROCK ON my fellow ZEPPELIN fanatics!

How's it going all? I remember going to see THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME for the first time ever at the midnight movies in 1977 at the now torn down Crestview theaters. My best friend's Tod, Scott and I would light bottle rockets constantly in the auditorium. One of them flew towards the exit door behind the curtains and the curtains caught on fire. Then the dude behind me threw up all over me! I thought that everyone was running outside of the theater because of the fire, it was because of smelly me! Have a great morning and ROCK ON fellow ZEPPELIN fanatics!

Hi everybody! How's everyone doing? I hope that the week is treating all of you well. I would like to share a funny experience with all of you that happen to me yesterday prior to going to see the movie IT MIGHT GET LOUD in Sacramento, California.

Before meeting up with Bruce's Hell Angels friends, Dave, Bob, Harold, Mike, Tod and I packed up in Bruce's Hummer and drove over to Steve's house to see if he could go with us. When Bruce and Steve get together, everyone ends up in jail. One Bruce is enough, two of them is a catastrophe. Anyway, we crashed Steve's house and he gave me the biggest hug after not seeing him for years. It was like a real homecoming. I noticed that Steve had a cast on his arm. Steve's wife Lorraine, she was so happy to see me, she hugged and gave me plenty of kisses. Lorraine than said hi and hugged Bruce, Tod, Dave, Bob, Harold and Mike. Lorraine then asked Bruce what he was up to? Sooooo..., still up to your old tricks huh Bruce? Bruce then said, No Lorraine, I'm not up to anything. The guys and I were wondering if Steve wanted to go to the movies with us? Steve said YEAH, lets get out of here. Lorraine than said OH NO YOU'RE NOT STEVEN! REMEMBER STEVEN, YOU'RE STILL UNDER HOUSE ARREST! I asked Steve what the f*c* did you did this time? Lorraine than said that Steven was under house arrest by her because she caught him with another woman. Steve then said yeah, and thats not the worst of it. When Lorraine caught us, she beat the shit out of my mistress and then tried beating the shit out of me! Steve then told all of us that when he got home, Lorraine came running out of house with a baseball bat and started chasing Steve all over the neighborhood. As soon as Steve got tired, he ran in the house and locked Lorraine out of the house by locking the door. Did that keep Lorraine out of the house, F*C* NO! Lorraine broke one of the bedroom windows and snuck inside the house. When Lorraine saw Steve, she started breaking things in the house trying to get at Steve. When Lorraine connected with Steve, she hit and broke his arm resulting in him having to go to the emergency room. Ok enough of that.

It was time to leave since we had to be at the movies, so we said our goodbyes and told Steve that we would see him again soon. I could barely hear what Steve was telling Bruce but Steve was telling Bruce to park the car two houses down and that he would sneak out the bathroom window and meet us outside. So we did. With all of us packed in the Hummer, Bruce backed the car two houses down. 10 minutes went by and no Steve. Bruce, Tod and I got out of the Hummer and ran to Steve's bathroom window which was small as hell. And there was Steve, stuck in the window and couldn't get out. Bruce, Tod and I tried pulling Steve out of the window but he wouldn't get loose. Next thing you know, you hear Lorraine banging on the door asking how Steve is. Bruce and Tod kept pulling Steve until the whole bathroom window assembly came off the house. When We got Steve loose and were outside the bathroom window, Lorraine opened the bathroom door and noticed that the bathroom window was gone! Bruce, Steve, Tod and I ran for our f*c*ing lives towards the Hummer and we all quickly packed in. Before Bruce could start the Hummer and take off, Lorraine camed running out of the house with the baseball bat and stopped right in front of the Hummer. Bruce could not back up because there was a car behind him meaning that we were all f*c*ed! Lorraine than told Steve to get his ass out of the f*c*ing car and get his ass back in the house. Bruce then said Hi Lorraine! Lorraine then told Bruce that he'll never change, that he's still the same crazy son-of-a-bitch. Steve then said goodbye to all of us, got out of the Hummer and went back inside the house. We all then said goodbye to Lorraine and Steve. Before we took off, Bruce slowly pulled up to the front of Steve's house, then he burned rubber that was so loud that the whole neighborhood came outside. End of that story, there's still more but I'll save that for another day. In the mean time, take care and ROCK ON fellow ZEPPELIN fanatics!

lolololol #88 is too funny. fucking lucky he didn't break his arm again falling out of the window.

The reason why he didn't re-break his arm or the other one is because Bruce and Tod helped him break his fall slowly as he came out. Bruce and Tod tried their best to grab his belt since his waist was stuck in the window and couldn't get out. Steve got pissed at Bruce for trying to pull him out by grabbing his head and trying to pull him out. Something had to give and apparently, it was the whole bathroom window assembly that was mounted on the house that gave. You just had to be there to see it, it was f*c*ing funny as hell! Even the neighbors next door were watching and laughing at all of us. However, it wasn't so funny when Lorraine came running out of the house with a baseball bat. I really truly believed that Lorraine was going to break Steve's other arm. I don't know if she did or not since we took off quickly. That was yet, another unforgetable experience in my life! Thank you for your comment and ROCK ON FOREVER my friend!

I remember seeing TSRTS at the Roxy Theater in Toronto in the mid to late 80's. We would all head down there on a Friday night, At Greenwood subway station we were always able to acquire large Quantities of LSD and across the street from the Roxy was a restaurant/ arcade where we would procure our weed for the show, many a time I had Theater ushers offering to give me a light for my triple paper joints. I remember one time in particular when me and my buddies ate 12 hits each of purple mini mics and tried to sit through TSRTS, No Quarter scared the hell outta me lol. Those were the days!!!! Most fun I've ever had in Toronto at a theater. :P

Ditto.

Been there and bought that T-shirt. Cool memories and times.

And don' forget The Music Hall that played TSRTS every weekend for those early 80's.

Me and the crew probably went to see the film a good 150 times in a period of 4 years or so.

Hi ZeppFanForever & Zepp-4-Life , it's going great but unfortunately like seeing TSRTS at the Roxy the LSD has disappeared, good times bad times I guess Ive had my share. Sometimes I think I would give just about anything for 1 more night at the Roxy with TSRTS and the dealers arguing over who would sell me my euphoria for the show.

Peace and good memories to all!

I know what you mean "RolandDeschain," I have never seen THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME sober in the theaters! I would give anything to see THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME sober in the theaters during the midnight movies. Then I can really see what the zoo or psycho ward looks like from a sober point of view. I can just imagine all of the craziness and madness that is going on in the theater. Thank you for your comment and ROCK ON FOREVER my friend.
