AngelOfAvalon Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 I need some help from other Zep-fans. My brother ordered a used vinyl copy of In trough the out door. It was in very good condition but now we're wondering about one thing: the inner pouch (if that's the correct word for it) is not black and white (as in my LP, which is printed in Germany), but coloured very nicely with what seems to be watercolour. He's LP is printed in the UK. Is the UK version really coloured or did the previous owner colour it? Not very important, but we would appreciate if someone could tell us how it really is. Quote
LukeTheDuke Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 the original inner sleeve was black and white with a secret: while using some water it'ld change in colors (this is called watercoloring) Of course intact inner sleeve are more collected (this is closer to a mint description) So, nothing strange (you can see the discography on this site as well ....) Thanks Luke! This I didn't know. Every day is a learning day... What an amazing job you did on your site. I'm sure to visit often. Lots and lots of information. Quote
LedNoodle Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 If i'm not mistaken there were a few versions of the same scene pictured on the album from different angles. I'm pretty sure Hipnosis did that, and Presence among others. And sweet site. Quote
