Rock Historian
Thanks that was interesting Yeah while looking at some other video I came across those and thought that was cool .There are actually a few more there The studio where that Plant recorded his Fats Domino tribute song is the same studio we mixed our album. The Music Shed is the studio. In the main room there are pictures on the wall of Plant with people from the studio. Also there is a video on youtube of an interview that was conducted at this studio. It was done along with the Allison Krauss project. Also Tipitina's is a popular club in New Orleans (for those who aren't from here). Some of my bands live performances/videos are taken from this venue. I also had the extreme pleasure of meeting Fats Domino in an accidental situation one time and he's a very sweet guy. He and Plant must have had a great conversation, from pictures I've seen. Also one of the engineers at The Music Shed told me that Fat's was a little hesitant to talk to Plant at first, so Plant (knowing Fat's background) said something to him in French and Fat's responded from then on. They took a walk outside for a while. Apparently Fat's was either impressed or suprised by Plant's tactic to strike a converstion.

I am originally from Lafayette and I remember being corrected a few times on it when I spent a few summers there. Great venue no matter what you call it! ninelives
I LOVE Tipitina's! What a great club. I forget who I saw there (it was a while ago) - might have been a local band but the energy was great and we danced the whole night.
