I agree Noel has a big friggin' mouth but sometimes I do find him quite entertaining. I also agree that he seems to think Oasis is the best thing to come out of Britain...they are not bad but definitely not as great as he seems to think. I kind of agree with Noel on this one though. If it were some big rap/hip-hop festival and Oasis played I'm sure somebody (like big-mouth Kanye West) would have something to say.

On to Jay-Z: Wasn't he supposed to retire three albums ago? And his rebuttal is not very original. I mean, he uses a sample from an Oasis song. A rapper using a sample...:lol:

Side note....

I know I couldn't be in a room more than three minutes with the Gallagher brothers - there'd be a fight. I am cognizant that violence solves nothing but......its the Gallagher brothers

*Sigh*. I can't stand people like you that dismiss an entire genre just because of what they hear in the mainstream. Open your ears and eyes, theres TONNES of great rap out there.

Yea, what was I thinking?

How creative is it to walk around on a stage grabbing your dick and shout the f and n word a thousand times. Oh and let's not forget how much talent it takes to scratch a record on a turntable.

No, you make me sick when you try to justify that it's music.

I agree that Oasis has probably seen it's better days and they were never one of my favorites, but NG does make a point. And doesn't Jay-Z have a new wife to keep him busy, or has she just turned into one of his hoes now?

You make me sick with your ignorance. Just because you are too dumb to understand a certain genre of music, doesn't mean that you need to go around bashing it.

I really like Oasis, and find alot of stuff the Gallagher brothers say in the press amusing. But I think I'm on Jay-Z's side on this one. I love how he came out and did the Oasis song... pretty funny!

Yea, whatever.

It's called an opinion and falls under the category of free speech.

Look into it!

I'm a bit mad at you queen without a king. You stole my exact thought.

Rap at Glastonbury is nothing new. It is called The Glastonbury Festival of Contempory Performing Arts afterall, and it caters for many different music tastes across 14+ stages. It's not just a rock festival like many of you seem to think.
