Toften
Paul Kossoff (Free and Back Street Crawler) Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin, The Yardbirds, like everyone know) Jimi Hendrix (The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Band of Gypsies) Duane Allman (The Allman Brothers Band) Amund Maarud (The Grand) Rory Gallagher (The Taste, Rory Gallagher) Ritchie Blackmore (Deep Purple, Rainbow...) Eric Clapton (Cream, Bluesbreakers, The Yardbirds, Derek and the Dominoes and Blind Faith) Gary Rossington (Lynyrd Skynyrd) Jim James (My Morning Jacket) I can't rank the the guitarist, because every guitarist on that list have inspired me in their own way to make me the guitarist I am today. I can't say that Page have inspired me more then Blackmore because I love Deep Purple just as mutch as Led Zeppelin, and again as mutch as The Allman Brothers Band, The Taste, Rory Gallagher, My Morning Jacket, Free, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Cream, The Grand, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Yardbrids and Bluesbreakers. Shankly
I can't believe no one has mentioned one of the greatest guitarists ever produced by Britain - Richard Thompson. The man is an absolute legend - he is a fabulous guitarist, a brilliant songwriter and he's really funny onstage too. Other faves are Jimmy Page (obviously), Richie Blackmore, Paul Kossoff, Jack White and Jimi Hendrix.

The Hammer of the Gods
Hmmm.... I can't really say in order, and I can't really say this is a concrete list, as it seems to change all the time. Right now, it's: Johnny Marr Mick Taylor Lindsey Buckingham Now that I think about it, the records I've been listening to lately aren't really too guitar-heavy. The first criteria that came to mind were guitarists that were unique, yet not over-indulent in their playing.
